The rooms were large
Our room smelled awful Continental breakfast was not good at all Floor was dirty in the room
Friendlines of the staff. Breakfast was adequate.
Lack of wifi and no swimming facilities available.
Accessibility & Excellent Staff
Lavatory & counter not located in bathroom.
Great staff and location.
Some of the guests were too loud.
The room was what one expects from a newer Best Western, the beds aren't top of the line, but at the price, good enough. The indoor pool is why we stayed as my son wanted to swim for his birthday.
the breakfast was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. We got several mini muffins, all were very stale. The biscuits were rock hard. When 2 13 yr old boys can't eat their favorite foods, it is BAD. We went to macdonalds.
Internet was very intermittent when it would connect and the pool was freezing for the second time, when its supposedly heated.
Rooms were clean
Fine, served the purpose.
Breakfast was not well stocked or appetizing.... hot dogs??? The hot tub jets were not working, but it was hot.
Rooms were great.
I called the front desk for a 8:00 wake up call. I did not get it.
Room was large and very clean. Staff very courtious and helpful.
The room was larger than your average hotel square footage. It gave us room not to run into one another for a change. Everything was clean and the people were friendly.
This hotel is rated a 3 star while some others we've stayed in are 2 or 2.5 stars and were nicer overall. The 'breakfast buffet' is a glorified continental breakfast. Don't get your hopes up on that! Overall, however, the hotel is kept very well.
It's location, both to the attractions we were in the area to see and restaurants.
No. It was a very good hotel.
it was in the best location for my family reunion. it was quiet and nice...clean for the most part. breakfast was good also.
i got in the jacuzzi in the 24hr pool area and i feel the water needs to be warmer. there were dead bugs and it was dark and dingy. i still enjoyed my stay though.
The bed was very comfortable. The indoor pool was beautiful; too bad we did not utilize it. Full breakfast was good.
At check in, there was no toilet paper in the room. The sink would fill up with water unless the water was run at a trickle. A different room was offered, but the sink was not fixed. No repair staff???
Bugs, stained curtains, cracked tiles, damaged desk, small black hair in my washrag, damaged sheets (hole) and balled up
it did not have the two beds in the room so my children had to use the pool out couch, and I didnt feel like there were enough blankets even though we called down for some more sheets and blankets they just brought 1 blanket i didn't want to ask again.
Good Location For My Visit to the City an had access to what I had need off
We went to eat at 7:50 AM. Biscuits were hard. Eggs were like rubber. one couple came after us and there was no food after they left. disappointing.
I was told there were no non-smoking rooms. The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes. My room was even worse. I opened the window but it didn't help. When I checked in they offered me a bottle of Febreze before I even went to the room. That should have been the first sign. My family refused to stay here and found other places to stay. The toilet paper wasn't even real paper, it fell apart when you tried to take some off the roll. It was a dirty room. There was gross stuff on the side of the bathtub and on the bathroom door. The caulking was cracked and moldy. The shower curtain wasn't installed right so the shower curtain wouldn't stay in place. This is not a 3 star hotel. Stay at the Holiday Inn or La Quinta in Jacksonville. Also...not that the hotel can control this...there was a guy walking around barefoot the entire time. There was also a crowd of people hanging out in the parking lot and around the pool all night which didn't make me feel safe. The pool isn't locked and was open to the street so there was no monitoring of the people using the pool since it is open 24 hours. The walls were paper thin. You could hear the people moving the blankets even in the next room. I couldn't turn the TV down low enough for them not to hear it. The remote control was gross and was taped together.
We stayed two nights so we could attend a family reunion. First of all, they placed us on the top (3rd) floor as far from the elevators as you could get. We asked for, and received a non-smoking room, but the third floor hallway was full of the stench of cigarette smoke all the time. The person in the room next to us had the TV playing all night long....in fact it was still on at 7:00 AM in the morning. The walls did little to muffel the sound. The 'free' breakfast was as poor as I've ever seen in a hotel. This will be the last time we stay at this Best Western. There is a new hotel just down the street that will get my vote for the next visit!
What a nice, clean safe feeling for anyone to stay. Breakfast was wonderful. Very Clen. Will stay again. Hospitality and staff wonderful. Thanks again Ann
Pleasantly surprised. Lovely, new decor in the reception area, rooms clean and up to date, friendly staff. There was a problem with the toilet in my room and the staff went above and beyond to take care of the problem and then, apologetically, moved me to another room.
