The hotel was lovely, very clean and the staff couldnt do enough for you. Our room was a Grand Deluxe Jacuzzi Room and was fab, the jacuzzi on the balcony was amazing overlooking the sea. The pool was lovely and the views were amazing, only downside was there wasnt that many sun loungers and towards the end of our stay it got busy and sometimes you couldnt get one, but there is the roof top to sunbathe on also. It is in a great location in Chaweng right on the edge of the busy town, it is on a very steep hill and quite hard to walk up, but they do cart people up and down on buggys.
The breakfasts were very expensive, 600 baht which is about £12, but if you go into the town you can get a feast for about 400 baht for 2 people.
The interior or the rooms is stylish and beautiful, the bed has real high quality, the view to the ocean is fantastic and the large balcony is special.We booked luxury jacuzzi suite but thought about up or downgrading because the luxury rooms and suites have no ocean view and no large balcony and also indoor jacuzzi, so you pay more but get less. The honeymoon suite we choosed was fantastic with a 25 sqm balcony with jacuzzi and day sofa bed. The pool was nice, we didn´t tried the restaurant because our walks at the beach gave us opportunity to choose from the several restaurants at chaweng beach. The way to beach is short, but in the end at the hotel really steep. The resort looks with its oversea villas nice. The staff is very friendly.
As mentioned before, you have carefully to read what you book, to get clearer informations the KC website helps. In my view I can only recommend highly the rooms with seaview and large balcony.
Great location just outside the very busy Chaweng. Jacuzzi on the balcony was a novelty and a relaxing way to end a busy day.
The interior of the rooms and standard of the room where outstanding, as where the friendly, accommodating staff.
Though the quality of service and food was always high, the hotel, being recently opened lacked consistency, e.g. the same dishes ordered on two different days where cooked and served entirely differently. Same was the case for the service.
The rooms & scenic view from the room was really nice.
They were a bit un-professional, cause the hotel staff made me & my family check in a particular room & then later in the evening they come & asked us to shift the room & they told me that it was a mistake. It was very insulting for us since we had to shift from one side to another & we had to go through the hassel of packing our things & then moving to the new room. This kind of mistake is not acceptable from such a well reputed hotel. I tried to talk to the GM but whenever i called they receptionist told me that he is not available. Above all I felt insulted cause my younger daughter thought that since I cant pay/afford the bill we were shifted.
