A beautiful period hotel with absolute charm in a beautiful setting, wonderful locality and very friendly. Not short of things to do as long as you like the countryside. On the other hand easy access to some profiled cities, Bonn and Koln.
Simple touches would have enhanced. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, a fridge/drinks and a full length mirror.
Nice location by the Rhein river, good breakfast. Easy transport to Bonn city by tram, just outside the hotel (25 minutes).
No internet in room. No ironing table and iron in room. Batteries in TV remote control were out. Not possible to cover the windows so I woke up very early.
the receptionist at check in
I liked to locality and would like to return on a leisure trip with my wife, probably in the summer months, as I suspect that is the best time.
Excellent location. Good food
'Room' proved to be an apartment (fit a family of 2+3children) right at the top of the building, Dismal dark decor. Extra charges, not mentioned until paying bill, 10 Euros for bath, 6 Euros for parking. We stayed in five hotels across Germany on this trip - Loreley was the most expensive and quite the least good.
Near Rhine. Middle of town. Lots of restaurants.Near to the river cruises.
Bathroom rather small and dark
location, View - meals
No internet station
Nice view of the rhein and it is nice along the river front
Overall disappointed with Konigwinter. The town itself seemed as though it has seen better days!
very pleasant location with superior view at the Rhine, ambience of dining hall, helpful staff
very small bath-room, the room was also little bit small for that price, repair and maintentace can be better done (the door handle out of action, the staircase in decay)
Beutiful river front hotel. Newly renovated. Excellent restaurant and staff. Free parking, great breakfast in gorgeous room. Everything close by. Doesn't get much better than this. Highly recommended. Snowman
