Paying much attention to detail at all levels, the hotel also offers a restaurant which, in addition to a superbly stocked wine cellar, also offers a cuisine based on local, home-grown produce and includes home-made pastries and charcuterie. Facilities at the Witek are comprehensive and include a garden, covered outdoor bar with barbecue, complimentary monitored parking; billiards for guests to enjoy as well as table tennis, sauna, jacuzzi or, during the cold winter months, a chance to relax in front of the open fire located in the bar. All rooms are equipped with TV, radio, telephone and minibar, and become a peaceful haven at the end of a busy day in the mediaeval city of Krakow. The hotel's location allows for straightforward direct access to Krakow city centre by public transport (the bus stop for the 15-20 minute ride is located directly in front of the hotel) and to Balice airport by taxi.Thoroughly recommended!
