Room was in the North tower at the very end of a hall - very long walk from the elevator No coffee maker in the room Getting hot water in the tub was a struggle...took up to 15 mins of turning the faucet back and forth. An engineer admitted that "it's because you're in the north tower. They haven't installed the boiler yet" (or something like that). Front desk neglected to tell me that when I checked in

I was at the Westgate because of a conference at the conference center. I had been here once before. It's certainly improved from the last time. They were flashes of brilliance with some very nice staff members. But overall the staff members were harried, brusque, and generally less than helpful. Checkin was horrible. People guarding the door at the concierge lounge were particularly unhelpful. Although the staff in the lounge were very nice - particularly the man making omelets in the morning.
Concierge lounge is on the first floor, in fact in the main hallway, and is inconvenient and a nuisance to get to from the floors upstairs. They've taken the old concierge lounge and made it into a private owners lounge only. Complementary domestic beer and well drinks were nice, but the coffee was among the worst that I have ever had in the hotel. I was surprised that there wasn't at least one import or craft beer offered. Expensive addition with little benefit. Needs to be near the floor. Also could not bring a guest in with me, which was a problem since I was on business. Utterly stupid from a customer service perspective.

I liked that it was very inexpensive and the hotel was clean and close to the Las Vegas strip.
I didn't like that the check in process took a little bit over an hour. When I got to the room there wasn't a fridge, it was specified in the amenities when I booked the room that there will be one. I called to see if I was able to get one and they said I had to be place on a waiting list. The remote control for the television did not work and when I asked if I can be helped they said they would sent someone up. About 30 minutes passed and no one came to help us. When I called again the lady who I spoke with was kind of rude bc I asked how long it would take and she said I don't know how long it'll take. I spoke to her the first time and I told her that it would've helped me if she would've given me a time frame of how long it would take for someone to help me. She said "they're not going to be there in 10 to 20 mins". she was a bit rude.

Everything had a price; want water $4, want coffee $3.50, want more than three devices on wifi $9. This was in addition to the $28/night hotel fee. Not to mention that they had to switch our room three times because our room kept getting booked up. We finally got a room and the tub didn't drain and they sink had sewage back up every time we used it.
Not going to lie when I read the reviews it made me nervous but this place was comfy, cozy! The staff was nice.....too nice if you ask me. I've stayed in the past when it was the Hilton last yr glad when I found out Westgate was the same place I was extremely glad.
Lighting..... We usually stay in a 2 bed room this time it was a 1 bed room and not much light optio . Even when opening the curtains. Bathroom shower curtain had a old smell
My room was dirty, I found a dirty diaper in the back of the television which was very unexceptable
WAITED IN LINE FOR OVER AN HR TO BE CHECKED IN. ROOM WAS NOT VERY CLEAN. TOWEL HAD LEFT OVER MAKEUP ON IT STILL.
Great Place to stay, it is right on the monorail line for easy access to the rest of the strip. Great room, and the gift basket and bottle of wine was a nice surprise.
Wall are a little thin as you can hear hallway noise.
Small queen bed
I was super impressed with the rooms and particularly the bed. It just seemed way nicer than I was expecting from the outside. The outside isn't ugly but just probably the plainest hotel/casino on the strip. I also liked that it was connected to the monorail making it quick and easy to get to the rest of the strip.
I can't really think of anything that I didn't like, really. They are really trying hard to sell time shares/condos or something. Maybe that's a bit annoying.

We loved the price & the location of this hotel. Being right on the monorail was perfect, we were able to travel to the Stratosphere & mid strip in just minutes!! We arrived earlier then check in time & they let us check in right away without question & no additional fee! We had an excellent view from our room.We loved all the history & Elvis memorabilia in the main lobby! The room was very clean & pretty up-to-date, there was a safe & a refrigerator, which was great!
Immediately after checking in, while we were on our way to the room with our luggage, we were approached by an employee asking us if we had received our "free gift." When we replied no we were brought to a desk where we were quickly asked several questions by a very fast talker, then asked what time we would like our "free breakfast." Once we agreed on a time, she gave us these long sheets of information that needed to be filled out. When we inquired about this, we were then informed that the free breakfast was actually a 90 minute presentation that we would have to sit through before receiving our real "free gift" which happened to be, nothing we were interested in, which were tickets to a "Prince Tribute Show." Once we told the staff member we were not interested she tried to pressure us into it. After finally escaping that, we were then approached SEVERAL more times on the way to the elevator, before even getting settled in our room! We thought it would end there, but it did not! EVERY TIME we came to and from our room, we were harassed by these staff members trying to give us our "free gift." It was unbelievably annoying! We did however decide that this was a small price to pay for the very small price we paid for the room & the location on the monorail. We were lucky to get there before check in time & be allowed to check in early because after check in time arrived the line was unbelievably long & we never would have wanted to wait in that line!!

I like that it's only an 8 minute drive from Downtown and that it has a Monorail attached to it. The Sportsbook was a good size and had lots of TV screens
I didn't like seeing families I don't think Vegas is for kids, so it was weird seeing families checking in at 1 or 2 in the morning
i liked that the elevator got me to the 27th floor pretty quick the big screen tv with my information on it easy access to the monorail express checkout
i didn't like i couldn't park in front of the hotel to check-in....this bugged me the most i could hear the conversation of the room next to me the bed was super firm the AC didn't work No water pressure in the shower I waited almost an hour for a combo meal at your little pizza hut

The first room we stayed in was great except for the shower. The water never heated up and the vent didn't work. Second rooms shower warmed up, but had very low water pressure
The pressure of the sales staff. I can't stand westgate resorts for this reason. When I originally booked this it was the Las Vegas hotel, had it originally been Westgate, I would not have stayed or booked here.

The casino/bar areas were very clean. The buffet was very good, just a little pricy.
Overall, my experience here was horrible. The restroom smelled horrible, the door didn't close, the bath tub got clogged up and the shower water pressure was horrible. The pool closed to early (7 pm) on a holiday weekend!! Is you desire self parking, be prepared to walk. Check in was a bad experience in itself! You have to park far, walk to get checked in and walk back to your car to get your stuff.
The Staff are very professional and friendly. I had 2 complains about the rooms and they did provide me with a free upgrade when I was about to go look for another hotel. (which was not really free since I lost a lot more at the Westgage casino). I did like the price offer but would not pay more for a 3 star hotel.
Two of the "non-smoking" rooms I got smelled horrible, I thought at the beginning it is from the vents and I stopped by another room that was being cleaned and it was fine... The central tower is very old and smells bad (you should have a policy of not smoking or charging if somoem smokes in the non-smoking room). I did get an upgrade to the East Tower which was a much nicer room but the beds and pillows are very uncofortable and the water keeps on drpping with a rust in the bath... It is a good hotel for a 3 stars hotel price but not more.
Parking is not too far from hotel room.
The rooms are very outdated with popcorn ceiling and analog thermostat. The restroom flooring has plain square tiles. The bath tub paint comes off with any maintenance. The shower head water pressure is low. Small gambling area with only 1-2 table(s) of each kind. The pool is small and crowded. No shuttle service provided to strip. Cost of the in room water bottle is $4 each. $18 resort fee per day is too high for what're offered.
