Friendly staff, lots of shops open late
Beds could be better.
Not enough time there
Payouts were good if you had luck on your side. New Pizza place is delicious and Donut House is great in the early, early, morning.
Donut House service is a bit slow starting around 7AM. First day there and walking onto the casino floor, security came up to my friend and asked him to turn his shirt inside out because it had "Going to sleep F UP" on the back. Security said "We have gotten several complaints from our guess". He didn't want to start off with a negative vibe so he changed. Good to all visiting. . .
Close to everything.
Filthy and dusty. Needs a renovation.
Very old feeling rooms and amenities. Ate at Cocos and had very long wait in an empty restaurant. Morning coffee at dunkin donuts inside hotel was a 30 minute experience every day. Entire experience was disappointing. Will not return.
Latin night Sunday's.
Smelled by the pool.
we were told once we checked in not to drink the E water, don't brush your teeth we it or get in your eyes. For our inconvenience they gave us 2 bottles of water. On top of that the rooms where dirty, the hallways was littered with trash.
Gamble & dine (eat)
The casino was great. Payouts were amazing, not to packed and had great games. The steak house was amazing.
I did not like the restaurant service in the hotel. I went to cocoa's (which is the only place open late if you want a snack) and it was horrible, the service, the food and everything in between my 35 minute wait. Which by the way they were fully staffed and there were 3 people dinning in there. My Togo order took 35 min and I only ordered chicken avacado egg rolls, which had NO avacado. ....
1)Valet wont park your Truck if you have camping gear in back, 2)Security in the park lot is not good. 3)The pizza and sandwich cafe closed early so if you want a late night snack you'll need to go outside to a resturant or to another casino. 4)Arcade also closed early, so kids didnt have much to do. I will not be staying there again I rather pay $20/30 more and stay at the Aquarius, they have everything you need from valet, food, hrs...
The pillows were amazballs.
No bath tub. No balcony
The rooms are new and beautiful . Staff is great.
No more Dairy Queen
Buffet food was horrible
The people were helpful and accomodating. Room adjustments were made to accomodate my disability (I needed a shower room and mini fridge for medication). The bell man was excellent. He stored our belongings until others in our party arrived and again while we waited for our vehicle to come to valet on our departure. The room was a riverview and at a sufficient distance to be near activities on the Riverwalk, but far enough away to enjoy quiet during the morning the evening hours. The buffet offered prime rib and hot and cold crab plus other entrees, salads, and desserts on Friday and Saturday nights. And Coco's offered alternative food for meals as well.
There was nothing we could complain about. The weather was warm but not uncomfortable. The special event was on the Riverwalk and accessible to walking traffic. The people at the Desk and service staff were helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.
We paid next to nothing for this room. The amenities were actually better here than at an expensive Scottsdale, AZ hotel where we stayed on the same vacation. The Edgewater also gave us a coupon for free Dunkin Donuts coffee! We enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel as well as the giftshop. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends, and we would stay here again.
The water taxi was unorganized and took forever to wait. We ended up walking back to our hotel. The smoky casino was yucky to walk through, but that's to be expected.
The room cost $20! I thought the room would be dingy or small. It was spacious, clean and had a flat screen TV. I was boggled by the combination of price and value. Granted, Internet access was $5.99 for an hour or $12.99 for a day, but I chose not to use them. It's on top of a casino. It was obvious they thought they would make money from me in other ways. Bottom line: cheapest room I have ever stayed in, but solidly in the middle of the pack for quality of the room.
The hall going from the casino to the elevators smelled truly awful, like rotting mold.
Proximity to the river
Ridiculous charges and hidden fees, will never return.
Booking through Kayak. First time. Worked out well.
Although I expected smoking in the building (Nevada casino) there's no respite from the smoke. Even the non-smoking room smells rancid. Will be a long time before I get the smell out of my luggage and clothing. Won't be back.
The room and bathroom was clean. The room itself was pretty sparse and the TV and channels offered was pretty lackluster. The room didn't even have a minifridge, but all in all it was very inexpensive and clean and safe, so I would gladly stay here again.
Elevator wasn't working, had to take back alley to 24 hour restaurant. Smells bad inside certain parts of casino
