Desk not manned in early am
Easy access on main road
Good view of mountains out South window. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, comfortable bed.
No elevator, breakfast not very good, only 2 small pillows, no temperature control.
no elevator and we were on third floor
Pretty standard and clean. What you would expect for a budget hotel. The breakfast included a pretty great waffle setup.
A cleaning product or maybe a scented plugin left a weird smell in the hallways but the room was free of any odd smells.
only one entrance. hallways were freezing cold. windows didn't open.
The towels smelled funny. Tub drain didn't drain. Nothing worse than standing in someone else's yuk. Yuk.
A very pleasant, relaxing 4-night stay. It was just what I needed.
The location and price. Close to the mountains and ski resort. Very affordable.
Rooms we meh. Breakfast was alright, but many of the pasties tasted like plastic.
The microwave and fridge
WiFi is dial up speed. very frustrating
Friendly staff, price
Breakfast area very small, and the waffle batter is terrible--waffles come out rather gummy
It was cold in the room and there wasn't any way to control the temperature. Let me repeat that. You cannot control the room temperature. The temperature of room is not individual thermostat but all rooms are on a boiler system.
It was very warm. Hotel manager very nice.
Walls were a bit thin. Soundproofing could be beter.
AC too old.
They have an excellent breakfast. The rooms are clean and everything works. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The view from our room wasn't very good but the view of the mountains from the front door was wonderful.
Convenience- this hotel was only 35 min away from Mt. Elbert's main (northeast ridge) trailhead. It was a smooth check in process and a quiet place to stay for a short night. Comfortable bed.
I wish there had been more than one entrance! Going through the lobby each time was not that convenient... especially since we had to drag our stuff to the opposite end of the building...ironically by another door....but not useable!
It wasn't the hotel I had problems with! It was PRICELINE! I looked up hotels near Breckenridge, Colorado and this one came up saying it was a mere 28 miles away from Breckenridge. Once I booked the room, I pulled up my GPS to get there (as this was a last minute reservation), and the GPS said it was a 4 hour drive from where I was, and an hour and a half away from Breckenridge (ALMOST 49 miles in the snow and ice!). I called immediately to cancel my reservation with the Hotel so that I could find someplace closer, and was told to call Priceline. I called Priceline in an attempt to simply change my reservation from one hotel to another (still through Priceline) and got transferred twice only to find out, even though I had just place my reservation less than 10 minutes before calling, I was going to get charged a cancellation fee that was the same price as the hotel! When I asked for a manager, I was told that she had no manager because that's not how they do things in the Phillipines! ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME? I was HIGHLY unsatisfied with Priceline's service and will never ever ever use them again. I will also be sure to let all of my family, friends, and acquaintances know to never use Priceline as all they will do is rip you off and they LIE on their website!
Price & just 5 min-drive to the town, where can find some restautant and supermarket.
considering the price , every thing is OK
Very clean and a perfect location
Breakfast was adequate nothing special. Coffee was horrid
The location of the motel is great. It is a short didtance from the places I wanted to take pictures of. I had the opertunity to go 4X4 in the area and see the scenery.
The walls of this room were paper thin, which lead to a poor nights sleep. There was no heater in the room which made it a bit chilly (60's.) I will not be staing there ever again.
Leadville is an interesting destination and the Super 8 is the only chain in town. Beautiful views if you look beyond the parking lot. Three floors, but no elevator if that is a concern. Nothing fancy but everything worked and was clean. Average continental breakfast included. The location is a short distance south of town, probably too far to walk. But convenient.
