price I was charged was too high for Louisville
I had to catch a 7am flight-very close to airport; very friendly and helpful staff; shuttle to airport
Location and beds.
Bathroom sink counter was small and shower pressure was a little low.
Close To Kentucky Kingdom
Ants were in the room
Food in Bistro. Responsiveness to housekeeping request for bedding on the sofa-bed.
The front desk staff was extremely helpful. Changed my room to a handicap accessible room without any issues for my husband who is in a wheelchair.
No cleanses No friendly greeting
Very clean with friendly service
It was missing a place to do laundry. We came from Hurricane Bay and needed to wash the wet stuff. Luckily the hotel next door allowed guest from our hotel to wash.
Very nice room
The staff was very nice and helpful.
Thin walls. I could hear and feel people above me.
Modern design, friendly staff
parking was interesting, lot was a little dark
The cleanliness and comfort of our room.
There wasn't anything
Nice beds, clean, nicer than average carpet
Bathroom tub was poorly constructed and had a very rough tub bottom
The shuttle to and from the airport
The elevators were filthy. Food stuck in the walls and streaks of something run down the door. Puddle of something in the floor. Rooms outdated for a Marriott name brand. Only food has to be bought from a vendor in the lobby. $4.00 for plain black coffee.
The Wi-Fi has been boosted since an earlier visit. It's slow - you pay extra for speed - but it works.
location. parking. hotel lobby/sitting area
breakfast options - should have ability to purchase a muffin or something small rather than having to pay for the expensive buffet or ordering the meals from the little cafe, w hich did not provide many options.
I picked this hotel (for an overnight stay) because it is close to Louisville airport. I had to catch a very early morning flight and the location was convenient.
The hotel does not deserve a 3-star rating. The room furnishings were sparse and it had a worn-out look. Most importantly the air-conditioner was barely functioning and I spent a very uncomfortable night. I had difficulty finding a place to park my car.
Hotel was over booked... Not having the room that was booked and being down graded in order to have a place to stay for the night
We didn't get much sleep because people were yelling on our floor and outside.
The room was nice but we were mislead on the free breakfast that we paid extra for . It was about 35 dollars more and there was only 4 things to choose from which at 9:45 am were totally cold and dried out . Very disappointed that we paid extra .
it was a nice place the location was very convient
the price of breakfast was high. charging 40.00 for incidentials was a bit much much since the only thing we used was two coffees. had to call for towels because they were not put in the room twice and when we arrive the lotion, shampoo, etc had all b
I was happy with this hotel and it's location to Downtown Louisville until something very unfortunate happened.
I prepaid the hotel through Priceline and without my knowledge, the hotel put a 550.00 hold on my credit/check card. This in turn caused my account to overdraw and I was assessed $116.00 in overdraft charges on other small purchases that I had made.
location, adjacent to airport
facilities not really up to the normal Marriott standards
The service was great, but I wouldn't recommend eating at the hotel. They were very slow and it was OK, but not great.
I brought my wife and twelve year old son here from Nebraska to see Louisville and to go to the Six Flags. You could see the staff taking pride in keeping the place clean and being helpful when they could. Not being from this area, I was very delighted by the Southern style of charm the staff presented. They were very helpful in telling this mis-placed farm boy how to get to where he wanted to go. The breakfast buffet was good with a cook on hand to do your eggs however you wanted them. Even making me a special omelet. My only wish was that we could have had our evening meal in the same place. The pool was warm and clean, the exercise room was adequate, and the hot tub was welcoming. If I ever get to Louisville again I will stay here.
