The couple who run this small b&b are very helpful and welcoming. The room we stayed in, No.3, while on the smallish side for a double room, was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with freeview digital tv, radio, tea/coffee making facilities, en-suite shower room, arm chairs and enough wardrobe/drawer space. Breakfasts were delicious - you can opt to laze in your room and have it delivered - but we preferred to visit the breakfast room and meet other guests. There are only five guest rooms, judging from the numbered tables. You can select from a choice of Full English, Continental, Vegetarian or lighter options, all served quickly and personalised as you wish; plus the unlimited help- yourself options of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts etc.
Nothing bad to say about this delightful small bed & breakfast establishment.
Owners were extremely helpful and obliging in every aspect, with pleasant attitude to all their guests.
Only critisism being the en suite although very unique was on the small size.
Re heated breakfast , Shower very small with no pressure, Dogs in the kichen, Dog mess in the breakfast room.
the house was tidy and cosy, excellent location and is very close to restaurants, which was very useful in the end for breakfasts and dinners. Our room was also very clean. The staff was very friendly. Being that friendly they made it up for everything I didnt like. I also forgot my pants there and the staff will mail them to me.
My BF and I were given a room under the roof, and the ceiling was so low that I was constantly bumping my head into it. I had to bend all the time walking in the room as I was paranoid I will bump into the ceiling again. Interestingly enough I was looking into the other B&B before that one and they warned me there that the only room left was small with ceiling of just 2 meters high.
An excellent bb in all respects, I would recommend to anyone where to stay in the New Forest Area
