The grounds are lovely and well kept, the rooms are large, and while they are sparsely furnished, nothing was missing. The breakfast buffet was wonderful: most products on offer were from the farm next door.
Latest check-in time is 7:pm. It stressed us considerably as we were touring and got turned around a bit. And while there is an indoor pool, you must announce that you intend to use it later, and access seems rather restricted. And it is not included in the price of the room!!
Nothing. It was horrible.
Located in tiny vi!lage where no one speaks English. No food served except breakfast. No restaurant nearby and no local taxis available.. Not one other guest in hotel. Only hotel employee present was receptionist, who went home after registering us and taking our money, leaving us alone all night on a large totally vacant farm. I'm 86 years old. If I had fallen or had a heart attack, I would have died.
The perfect balance between the very quite farm life of this hotel and the possibility to visit Venice from the next railway station (20 min by train). Excellent the breakfast with many products made in the hotel / farm.
Breakfast: very good; wellness area: excellent, but too expensive; hotel area (incl. Landscape): very charming, very quiet, interesting animals; architecture: very aesthetic;
Our room was very small (which might be of no importance in summertime when you have the whole area to walk around; but in wintertime one feels a little "cramped");
Just what we required to rest before going on to Cortina d'Ampezzo
There appeared to be none
