Great staff, good breakfast, beds were good, good basic cleanliness.
all was fine!
The hotel staff told us there were no hotel rooms with two beds available for people from priceline. I asked if three of the five rooms I booked could have two beds and the guy at the front desk said there was no way he could help us.This was a place I would not stay if I booked through priceline!!! You will never get two beds in a room there. We had five rooms for six days, and the staff said no way would they do that for us and told us that's what happens when you book on priceline. Finally after complaining long enough he said he would give us 3 roll away beds free. Well when we checked out the other staff member said there was a charge for the roll away beds. I am now fighting with the hotel still on that. The hotel is dirty, breakfast was poor at best and staff was inept and didn't care.
Nice indoor swimming pool area.
The slide does not open in the pool area until after 5pm weekdays!!
Fantastic pool for teens and kids.Great place to stay, good location. Very happy
The pool had a great water slide for the kids.
It was a two story building and there was NO elevator! I saw a 75-80 year old woman trying to drag her bags up the steps. Are you kidding me?There is no way I would stay here again and didn't on my way back through. The pool was great except for the fact that the 'life guard' wasn't watching the kids. They were going down the slide in multiples. I pulled my kids out. Too dangerous. The breakfasts were terrible. Cold cereal and a cold hard boiled egg - blah. No elevator (so great to drag a family's worth of bags up the stairs) and average rooms. Our shower nozzle was broken and I took my whole shower on the massage setting. Very uncomfortable. When I came back through Mitchell I stayed at the Kelly Inn. Much, much better (and cheaper).
The slide was awesome. Bed was comfortable
Staff when we first checked in wasn't very friendly and we had no toilet paper in our room we had to go ask for some
Kids had fun on water slide, when it was open.
Water slide and pool area shuts down exactly at 10:00 on Friday night. In fact the staff turned off the lights in the pool area while the kds were still in the water. They did not let you stay one second longer! Next a.m. they were late opening pool. There is no pool to swim, just water slide for kids. Breakfast was ok, but out of a lot of food. Had to remind staff to replenish the food. Kind of run down. The only reason we stayed was the water slide, but were disappointed with the staff abrubtly shutting the pool area and turning off all lights when kids were still in pool Very strict on their close time, but not punctual on their open time for the slide/pool. Felt rushed to check out. I got a call from front desk one minute before check out to see if we were staying again. Never had front desk call and so eager to check us out. Like I said, a very strict hotel on their time.
