The staff was exceptional! They were friendly, helpful, and in the right place at the right time. The hotel was elegant and comfortable. This was in the top 5 of all hotels we have used!
NoI would stay at Loews again. The entry, the common spaces, the lounge, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and elegant. We felt so comfortable and welcome in every area. The decor was stunning, but not over the top. The entry was 'grand' but welcoming. The bar and common spaces in the hotel offered many private, comfortable spaces for reading, waiting, or meeting with others. Loved Loews!
Great location for Nashville
Hotel is a little dated, but overall a nice place.
They went out of their way to make sure I had anything I needed and could get where I needed to be and on time.
Smelled horrible one of the days as work was being done on the exterior of the building was trying to rest and seriously smelled liked someone and used paint thinner in my room.Loews Vanderbilt was in a great location for a meeting. Close enough to downtown that I walked to wonder through shops etc... Not to far from the Airport. Being driven to the local mall was a wonderful treat. Will stay at the Lowes Vanderbilt again.
Friendly staff Clean rooms Convenient location right outside of downtown and across the street from Vanderbilt Univ.
Lobby layout. Fast elevator. Very helpful checking in early. Great giving directions. Very helpful.
Long walk to downtown and Titan Stadium. Take cab. Had shuttle but we were going to have to wait a half hour. Should have waited.Basically a standard room but great place to stay.
Good location really nice bathroom great bed helpful staff
They will you charge for any extras that they can. $17 for parking a night. Charge for wifi.Really nice hotel. Had heard bad but mostly all good. Really nice room. Bed was great. Bathroom was big and really nice. Great location for Vandy activates. Not a bad drive from downtown. Charged too much for parking, and charged for wifi. I guess they figure people can afford our hotel they can afford to overpay for parking.
The hotel was very nice.
They need to hire more staff for housekeeping or faster employees because our room did not get cleaned until after 3pm. We also had brand new towels in our room that had not been washed. They still had the tags on them so we didn't like that.
Location to West End was great!
Parking prices are outrageous. And to top it off they charged us for valet parking when we did self-park. In addition we found it odd that they cleaned the room but did not refresh toiletries--seriously, in a 4 star hotel?Hotel was nice but definitely not a 4 star property. There were no soda/bev machines and no hotel gift shop so options to get something to drink were limited to outrageous bar/restaurant prices. Room prices were definitely out of line for the type of property it is.
Staff was very friendly and professional.
It would be nice to know that parking is $30.00 a day. This is a very good motel in an excellent location in Nashville.
We liked the location and the amenities provided. The front desk, bellhops, and valets were very helpful and worked to assure satisfaction. Concierge was tremendous.
Yes, a few things. The room safe did not operate, the maid service left no floor towels, and the toilet seat was broken. This should have (IMHO) been reported by the maids. Also there were no towel racks to dry towels, though the hotel claims to be 'greenVery nice hotel for those seeking that level of service. Pricey room snacks, water, etc. But there are those that do not mind that. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to concierge accommodations and were pleased with the service level of those folks. Not sure how that is normally priced. The hotel provides transportation, free of charge, to Broadway locations. Just tip the driver. The garage parking rate, using valet, is pricey at 30.00 per night. That, to us, seems pretty steep, considering the cost of a room here. We found ...
