The staff was super nice and helpful. They made the stay a higher rating than I otherwise would have given.
The shower didn't always have hot water. The wifi was horrible and frequently disconnected. I could use it OK on my phone but not on my computer at all. When I tried to call the tech support 800#, I couldn't get the number to go through.
The hotel was run down, smelled, the halls were hit and it was overall disgusting.
We got a great deal and loved the location of this hotel. Beware, other hotels are really far from the attractions, this one is a 5 minute car ride and there is free parking downtown. The people at the front desk were super helpful.
The breakfast wasn't great, just okay. Missed some real butter for the waffles.
This hotel was under some renovations. The deadbolt on the door did not work, they only had a chain on inside. I did not feel safe here.
Location was good
Could smell lots of smoke but we were in a non smoking room but halls were full and it filtered in Lots of noise all night from other rooms and hallway
The people @the front desk
It was over priced to be 2 star
the room was very clean and the staff was super nice. will stay there again.
Microwave & refrigerator
Good WiFi, nice staff, heaps of parking.
Non-smoking room smelt like cigarettes a bit.
The hand wash sink stunk in drain we threw up as we brushed our teeth it stunk so bad
The staff was efficient and friendly. The breakfast provided a good selection of items including waffles.
The inside stairway and landings had a strong tobacco smell. This is not the fault of the staff but of visitors who fail to observe the non-smoking requirements. The guest rooms did not smell of smoke and I appreciate that.
This was not a two star, only a one star at best.
It met my needs as far as location and the pricing
it was smoky but the staff attended to the needs quickly
Nice staff, Location, Price!
Breakfast was too limited. Way below average breakfast. Room small. I was give per my request nonsmoking! room, however, the room reeked with smoking.
friendly staff clean room no bugs great amenities- nice size tv,fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker ac worked great very comfortable room
could use more concrete or paved parking instead of gravel for big rigs and rv's to keep the dust down to have a cleaner parking area
Everything was generally clean, but the carpets could use a deep cleaning.
Could use a few more pillows, as the ones provided were small and very squishy.
Neat as a pin
cigarette smoke in hallwaywill stay again
The manager Al was wonderful and so accomadating.
Location to the area of town I was going to be at the next morning.
The breakfast was not what I expected
Awful! First off, the hotel is really old. I know it's historic but renovations can be done. The front desk is ran by an elderly lady with limited mobility. The hot water barely works, so no good hot shower. The maid did not leave washcloths so I had to front desk for washcloths. The elderly lady at the front had to leave the desk and retrieve towels, which took forever. I'm not sure about breakfast. I was afraid to try it.
Very nice family owners, good fresh made waffles at breakfast.
A bit old and dirty. Rooms could use some paint and maintenance. Bathroom door looked like a dog tried to chew his way out of it.
It's a place to sleep. Fine for the price.
The shower didn't drain.
The cleaning staff was really nice.
The room was tacky, decor wise, and what's up with Super 8's breakfast????
It was in a great location. Close to the river.
I did not like the beds. They were very hard. Sheets had hair & sticky stuff on them. The water ran rusty color. The breakfast consisted of gravy(cold) & biscuits(hard). Carpets were dirty.
They made some renovations recently which improved the motel, but it's definitely no Ritz.
If you book your room with this hotel online be careful that the hotel doesn't charge you twice for the room. The clerk insisted that my card be charged again saying that the room was not paid with my reservation. He was not knowledgable at all. I had to call the Monday after our trip to have the manager credit my account for being charged twice for the room. Very dissappointing. And the room was not clean. We could not even walk around the room without socks. The carpet was so gross that we threw out our socks after the trip. I do not reccomend this hotel at all.
Great hotel and very friendly staff & management. Stayed for 4 days on a business trip and the people were very helpful with every aspect. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Will surely be back again.
