I booking arrangements or for 2 to stay in the room my husband was going to arrive later and when I called I was told that I could not have the room. I was told to contact the agency that gave the reservation number after 6 tries of trying to straighten up the matter they transferred me back and forwards This was 7 evening. I am 67 year old senior citizen with disability. I tried to explain that to the young lady. She just kept sending me back to the reservation. They said they had but I needed to contact the hotel this 1 like a Tennis match. I was not allowed to come and get the keys I was told that I had to make other arrangements. I had to contact the provider and get them to add my name even though my name was given at the time of the reservation. The reservation that it was 2. I also was told that if I wanted to make another reservation and pay over 200 summer dollars for another room that they would make that happen But only if the agency put my name in the system. This was a horrifying experience. I had to depend on relatives in order to find a safe place to be for the night. In my 50 years of booking and staying at hotels I have never been treated so Rudely and dismissed. After calling the company several times they finally told me that I never had a reservation the number that I gave them was not 1 of their numbers and to contact whoever I booked with apparently I booked with you.

Pros:Cheap, clean, friendly staff...all in all not too bad but don't expect comfort or luxury.
Cons:Pretty run down place, gym facilities were not good (missing/limited free weights, no gym wipes/sanitizer), room was very beat up (exposed pipes under sink, broken dresser leg, toilet inexplicably installed way too close to wall, shower door wouldn't fully close), uncomfortable mattress, finicky shower controls, sandpaper towels...but it was cheap and clean.
Pros:We were there on a pretty busy night during the inauguration/women's march weekend, but the hotel was managing it well. Our room was a little bit shabby and the mattresses felt a little worn, but everything was clean. Excellent location to take the metro into DC, and there is a grocery store, Chipotle, and a few other places to eat right across the street. The continental breakfast was actually waffles, eggs, sausage, and toast set out buffet style.

Cons:I was kicked out of my room because I used incense for prayers and was Accused of smoking. My deposit wasn't refunded neither was the amount I paid for the room.

Cons:The on/off handle in my shower was not properly caulked to the wall causing it to rotate quite a lot.
