Clean- pretty good location
Tiny bathroomThe staff here were great! Very helpful.
No counter or shelfs in bathroom. 25 dollar per night for car parking behind the hotel seems a bit over the top.
Staff were very helpful and informative.
Noise level was incredibly loud until about 4 AM on the weekend nights. Other hotel guests partying in the inner courtyard/pool area were loud and inconsiderate. This is an old hotel on the periphery of the French Quarter. It is not really in the Quarter, but adjacent and just north of it within walking distance. It was a LONG walk to the eastern edge of the quarter near Canal Street. Amenities were functional, but not luxurious. There is breakfast included, but it is very basic with more options out on the weekend. Staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, as well as helpful. Clientele was primarily young partiers when I was there and they were incredibly loud and noisy.
incredibly helpful staff, they were able to accomodate five friends whose accomodations fell through for the entirety of jazzfest.
some guests a little noisy around the pool.great little self-contained courtyard space with nice pool, with free breakfast and a saturday crawfish boil.
Very helpful and friendly staff Nice room with 2 very high beds clean and comfortable
Hoped it was a little closer to main downtown and events but was walking distance if you are a good walkerGreat place ,neat ,clean and very friendly staff soo helpfulm Would recommend a stay there
You could hear everything going on outside. Of course we had the loudest group of people staying next to us.
We loved the quaint, old-fashioned ambiance and the central location in the French Quarter. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating.
everything was just great. The hotel has an old-fashioned, homey atmosphere. It may bother some people with lots of luggage to manoever the tiny elevator and the many stairs, but we thought it was most endearing. Kind of old world. We couldn't understand why the hotel is only rated as a one star. It was central to everything we wanted to see - the French Market, Snug Harbour, Bourbon street, Preservation Hall and many others.
