Staff seemed pleasant, great price for Aruba.
Just an odd set up, we were in a section of a condo, so no ice or even an ice bucket - bathroom was in a common hall.
Clean and comfortable; restaurant food was good. Staff were very responsive to requests. Provided shuttle to beaches as this hotel is too far from the beaches to walk. Nice swimming pool and fitness room.
Beautiful well maintained facility, located inland, but accessible with provided transportation to beaches. The staff is exceptional. Friendly and very accommodating. We enjoy the low key, senior type atmosphere. Activities are plentiful and provided.
Very spacious room, very nice pool area. Very understanding staff.
The only problem is the location. It is a long and hot walk to the beach. Over 1 mile.
This hotel is more than a mile away from the beach. It is fairly old looking and the restaurant is not that great. It is a great price but we had to rent a car because it didn't look very safe walking down to the beach area in case we miss the shuttle. If you want a Aruba Resort experience do not pick this hotel. Walls are paper thin too.
Overall quite nice. The only problem was the room was located near one of the entrances to that building (the hotel consists of several buildings), and guests coming in and out of the building seemed to 'slam' the door, which could be a problem if trying to sleep.
While we enjoyed our stay in Aruba very much, most of the island seems run down. The Caribbean Palm Village is no exception. The bed was stiff and leaned to one side. Our room was near a street light that was so bright we didn't know when night came and went and it peeked around the curtains, so the room was never dark. Outside of that it was a basic hotel room with two double beds. We didn't have one of the condos, as we were only staying one night.
The facility although not on the beach has a welcoming staff, who are ready to help any time! It is clean and well maintained! It is a resort where relaxation is assured!
