Pleasant staff--greeted me in a professional, friendly manner; different person when I left was also professional and friendly. Facility and room were clean and comfortable. Convenient location; close to stores and restaurants. Free, well-lit parking.
Nice room, convenient.
Hard to get anyone at front desk, security seemed lax, no hair dryer in bathroom.
Good staffe this give me good feeling they very nice and good employee and the room good every thing good
I like the staffe behever all of them i seen as i go and back all chift time very nice sttafe i would like to tell them thank you
I stayed 2 nights & no one came to straight up the room & give us more towels.
The girl at the front desk was really nice, also extending my stay was easy as well. I would refer almost everyone I know to stay at this hotel because the rate was awesome and also the kitchenette really made my stay for my friend and I, enjoyable
everything was perfect.
The location of the hotel was perfect...
Wi fi was not available.. called to ask about wi fi the gentlemen place me on hold then did not come back and left at shift change. My room did not get cleaned my entire stay which was 4 nights. Only Decaf coffee was available for breakfast.
The bed was very comfy. I enjoyed the full kitchen.
The free internet was SLOW!
clean, spacious, comfortable
No pads and pens
Exceptionally clean, well-appointed rooms
A little difficult to find, but not a serious shortcoming.
Excellent location, very safe and accessible to area roadways and attractions.
Slightly dated and worn room amenities.
Not very much
Everything very bad smell everywhere!!
Clean, friendly staff
No lobby, but that's expected given the type of hotel
The room smelled horrible, guests slammed the doors late into the night and early in the morning.
The color of the rooms look very peaceful
turndown service once a week and some of these cleanliness was not as expected
Room was good.very quiet.
Very limited cable channels. Mostly sports.
The beds were comfortable. It was quiet. Check in and check out were easy.
The breakfast servivce. Both mornings I came down for my coffee well before nine o'clock and there was no more coffee. On the second of the two mornings there were also no more muffins. Staff blamed the holiday weekend but hotel did not look crowded to me
Bad service. Bad breakfast
not clean !!!There is NO breakfast
Rooms were clean and spacious, and ours included a fridge, stove and microwave. Wifi was good but not great, and it was well worth the value we paid.
Free breakfast was not really breakfast at all, just coffee, muffins and fruit with oatmeal. Very bare bones but you get what you pay for. No cutlery or dinnerware in the room, you had to order it from the front desk to have any for use in the room.
no ice machine in the hotel
The location of the hotel is very good and still not loud
The hotel needs a good cleaning in the public places (our room was more or less ok). In the week we were there I expected that someone would start with cleaning, as the dirt was easily visible. But nothing happaned at all, no one took ownership of it.
Toilet was not secured to the floor. Shower curtain was dirty and carpets were very warn, they turned my white socks black. YUCK!!!
Location on 8 mile and haggerty
The floor consistantly smelled like smoke and marijuana. Even after complaining it wasn't rectified.
It was a decent little kitchen.
Being on second floor with 3 children furthest room possible from the elevator.
No hair dryer
Nothing, I paid for 3 nights and I had to go book at Sheraton across the street. Room was smelly, bed was uncomfortable.
They did not assist us in any wa
TV didn't work and phone had no cord staff was very unprofessional
Not flexible with check out time. Breakfast was not up to expectation
Candice, one of the front desk clerks
no housekeeping regularly, no kitchenware in the kitchen, you had to go get it; had to go to the front desk with the old towels to get new ones
The free breakfast was nice.
The towels had a funny smell.
The staff are very friendly. It's the hotel policies that have made the hotel not as nice which I'm sure are a national policy not this hotels fault.
The hotel no longer supplies any type of glasses or plates with asking. They don't supply hair dryers without asking. They don't supply coffee makers either without asking and even if they do have a coffee maker available they no longer have coffee.
The towel rack fell off the wall and the door handle came off in my hand. There was an offensive food smell in the room.
I had a room that the heater didn't work so I reported it andt they came and said they fixed it but it was not fixed. I asked to move to another room and was told no.
Nice clean room
The staff need to be trained in customer service.
Nothing checked in, saw the room and left.
Yes everything stayed less than 2 minutes. Room was disgusting did not stay.
I had a good time but the only issue was the sink in the bathroom didn't drain it was plugged or something when I checked in. I notified the desk clerk and it was never fixed.
the heater in the bedroom came on even when turned off and roared like a freight train all night long. didnt sleep thru the night once. told front desk about it but what can they do? these units should be replaced terrible noise.
Size of the bed and customer service
My month long stay at this particular Extended Stay America was much better than I could have imagined. This was the first time I had stayed in a 'hotel' for an extended period of time. After settling in (unpacking and stocking my fridge and cupboards) I felt right at home. The kitchen with full-size fridge, microwave, electric cook-top, toaster, coffee maker, pots-n-pans, utensils and plates was what really made me comfortable... I was able to prepare my usual meals just like at home. And there was no need to do any late-night driving around looking for a 24hr restaurant or gas station for snacks or a cold soda since I had everything I needed in my 'studio-apartment'. The grab-n-go breakfast was very convenient... hot tea and coffee, hot chocolate, packets of oatmeal, chewy granola bars, prepackaged muffins, apples and oranges were more than adequate. The offerings were actually much tastier and fresher than any other 2-star hotel that I had stayed at. If I wanted a 'hot' breakfast I could cook it in my room or go to the Big Boy restaurant down the street. The room had plenty of space for my belongings -- using the dresser drawers, and closet area helped me keep organized and tidy. The table/desk counter top adjacent to the kitchen worked out o.k. However, I would've preferred a separate desk area for my laptop and work related stuff. Moving all my paperwork and laptop out of the way for meals was a slight inconvenience. The other Extended Stay America's that I'd stayed at had separate eating and work areas. My room at this hotel had an open and bare looking area along one of the walls that could have accommodated a work desk or small dining table. My Queen size bed with four pillows (2 feather and 2 poly filled) was more comfortable than I had expected. I believe it was a relatively new Serta Perfect which felt like a cushioned firm. The soft but thin blanket and bedspread was adequate for keeping warm. I usually remove the bedspread when staying at hotels but...
ad to switch room 3 times, one to small and had bugs, second one smelled like smoke/stale ash tray 3rd one was better. liked the one up the street better. staff was not very friendly.
Was not nearly as nice of room as Orchard Hill Place location just around the corner from Haggerty Rd hotel location. Breakfast very cheap. Coffee was terrible.
Free breakfast and internet.
Bathroom door was broken.
NOn friendly staff. Would not choose this hotel.
Location was great.
Staff was not friendly or helpful and the room did not have any bathroom products like shampoo or soap.
I must have Extended Stay mixed up with another because this is the most basic hotel we've stayed in. Cheapest possible furnishings, not even a hairdryer!! Coffee carafe handle fell off when I went to pour coffee and charge for internet access. Will pay a little extra for a nicer room. It wasn't that much of a deal. Do have to say it was clean.
