Set in lovely tropical grounds with a private lake, this hotel is about 8 miles from Disney. The rooms are decorated quite grandly but are comfortable and some have excellent veiws from the balconies, especially over the lake. Each room includes all the essentials you'll need. The grounds provide some excellent activities to do during your stay, including a large pool (not heated) with waterfalls, 45 holes of golf and an equestrian and tennis center. The hotel's restuarant serves nice food and the Sunday Brunch is especially recommended. If you pay for a Regency Club upgrade you get access to free breakfast, hot and cold drinks all day, snacks plus beer, wine and spirits in the evening. For business travellers there is also a business center. They also offer transportation to the airport and main attractions through an outside company, and this needs to be booked in advance. There is also a mandatory resort fee of $13.00 per room per night which includes the use of the facilities including bicycles, gym and boating on the lake. This also means that you are not charged for 'extras' during your your stay. The staff here are really courteous and helpful, and you are always made to feel at home.
