Honestly one of my favorite hotels to stay. We fly in from NJ at least twice a year just to stay at this Hyatt for the pool, food, amenities and of course seeing the Disney fireworks. (As long as you have a poolside view). The pool is great for adults and kids. The food is excellent. If I had to pick just one thing not “excellent” would just be the price of the room. But even that isn’t too bad, I mean it is a Hyatt Regency. You can’t ask for a better accommodation for a fun or relaxing stay.
Pros. I loved the scenery. Customer service was great. The hotel lobby is gorgeous. The pool and cave area were 1 of a kind.
Cons. The restaurant at the pool messed up our order. Then brought us food where chunks of chicken were extremely pink. The server, Elizabeth, was very nice and did the best to help us. But there probably should have been more ppl serving.
Pros. Amaizing facilities and comfort. No need to ever leave the resort,
Pros. Perfect resort. Many things to do for all ages
Pros. This is definitely somewhere you can come And enjoy a weekend of relaxing family fun!
Pros. Liked the Lakehouse restaurant and the pool area. Shuttle to parks was good also.
Cons. Didn't like moving rooms twice during our two week stay. Once for a strange loud tapping noise that would wake us up and the other was when the room was infested with tiny ants. Yuck! Very little care or compensation for our problems. Also had a horrible experience at the spa, which the spa and hotel did nothing about. Went in for a relaxing pedicure and came out with cut toes and paying for "extras" they didn't mention would be extra...like taking off my old polish. Won't go back to that spa again.
Pros. Lovely rooms, grounds and staff. Great location and well maintained with plenty of options
Cons. Parking fees spoil the overall experience. Always happy to pay for food, facilities and good accommodation but paying for parking at a hotel with so much surrounding space feels like what it is: You're being ripped off! Don't do it. It insults your customers and it's unnecessary
Pros. Room was not ready at 4:00 p.m. check in time. Wasn't ready until about 10:00 p.m.. Housekeeping staff not consistent in cleaning and restocking items in rooms, being I had two rooms. Need to hire better workers One of the worst Hyatt hotel I stayed at. Very disappointing.
Pros. Nothing
Cons. Room not ready at check in time Housekeeping not doing their job, need to hire and fire. No water bottles one day, no shower rug, This is the worst Hyatt I have ever stayed at.
Pros. My family and I had a blast at the Grand Cypress. The grounds are fantastic with plenty to do for all ages.
Cons. There was only one person at the front desk when we arrived at 3pm and it took over 15 minutes to tend to the couple in front of us.
