It was quiet, clean, and the staff was hospitable.
The toilet was not cleaned during our stay. This hotel is one of the few in Paris, TX that allows dogs to stay. It was nice to find a hotel that was quiet, clean and comfortable that also catered to dog lovers. Best of all, the staff was friendly and efficient.
There was a horrid smell in our room and after the first night we asked for and were given a different room.
Our room was right next to the outside door and every time the door closed the room door shook. I cannot help but wonder if we were assigned the less desirable room because of the great price we got through Priceline. The room was fairly large with a nice bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar, while small, had a good variety of items. Plenty of parking and a good location. The staff was responsive and pleasant. For the great price we got through Priceline, I would definitely stay there again.
Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable
Breakfast was OK but not great. Had to take my yogurt and bagel to the room because of the Fox news on the TV perhaps choose a channel less politicalNice, and clean nothing special about it. But a good value and everything I expected from the star level. Breakfast is average but OK. Staff friendly and efficient. I have stayed here several times and will stay there again.
shower curtain wasn't long enough. kept getting water on the floor.
Very clean with a very good breakfast
Way too dark in the room. They need more and brighter lighting.Very good overall experience. Better than I would have expected for a La Quinta.
Very little, since I ended up in a SMOKING room I didn't want.
This place still offers smoking rooms, in fact, a whole floor of them. I got stuck in one despite all my protests and requests for a change.Worst experience I've had in some time. We arrived to find that, even though I'd requested a no-smoking room in my reservation 'comments,' there were 'none left'. My wife and I were forced to take a room on the 3rd floor, which, as it turns out, is an ALL SMOKING floor. Even the hallway reeked of smoke, not to mention the room. After protesting at the front desk, we were told that they'd been unable to contact me because I'd left no phone number. So, I'd somehow made my Priceline-based 'Hot-Deal' reservation w/o having to supply at least a phone # or email address for the hotel's use? I don't really believe that. But, I'll tell you one thing, it will be a 'cold day in hades' before I again use Priceline's 'Hot Deal' non-transparent rese...
Location. The lobby area was nice.
Dirty stained hall rug, snagged rug in guest room. Hair in the tub. Missing floor trim tile in bathroom. Desk & nightstand had damage to the edges that could be concealed. Tub had damage to the outside with sloppy repair.Newer property but management does not stay on top of repairs. Three people were behind the front desk. One checked me in while another female was on the phone with a call that should have been finished out of guest area. Three children were behind the counter (one was not wearing a shirt). The male was wearing a T shirt. No staff was in uniform. Ads have been promoting the breakfast with bacon. No bacon here just sausage that appeared to be undercooked. The room needed minor repairs. TV had a intermittent problem. Staff did not speak when I passed thru the lobby. When I left the Breakfast attendant was sitting on the bench by the entry door smoking. This could be a really nice p...
Location and price through priceline. I did like the complimentary beverages the first night.
The breakfast was terrible!!! Cold.. Not a good selection at all. The eggs were very runny and my kids said the cereal was stale. The pool was miserably hot... Too hot to even enjoy . The hot tub was actually cooler.Overall the room was ok, but our room the first night had a terrible smell and the AC didn't work very good. We got a different room the second night and it was better except for the smoke smell( non-smoking room). The breakfast left little to be desired. It was terrible. If it hadn't been for the price, I would have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.
Staff was so professional and polite bed was amazing room was spacious stocked very well
There was no smoking and I was on the 4th floor so a lot of elevator rides downstairsGreat loved it
Good TV and friendly staff
Hallway carpet filthy, air condition did not cool room, breakfast without meatNot 2 and half stars. La Quinta needs to look at this place it is not up to their usual standards. It is run down holes in hallway walls. Could hear conversations of neighbors as I walked in hall. Loby floors were very wired and squeaky.
