Great location - you can walk to Parramatta train station within 5 mins. Don't stay here if you think you are in Sydney like some people have. It is a good 45 minutes train journey to Sydney city centre. One bedroom apartments (like we had) were very roomy, and had all the things you would need. We had a room on the 11th floor and you could see the Sydney city skyline and Olympic Village from it. Room kept very clean
Air Conditioning - I like air con that I control, not the hotel. It looks like you can control individually but you don't actually control the temperature. I wanted it around 18 but after 8 hours blowing it still hasn't gone below 21. Personal taste. Noisy - Our room was overlooking one of the largest commercial air conditioning units I have ever seen. Fine when the windows and doors closed but you couldn't sit on the balcony and hear yourself for the roar of it! Fridge/Kitchen - I was here for a two week business trip with my wife with me and the reason we got an apartment is that we wanted to eat in some nights. However, the fridge is crammed full of expensive beers, water, chocolate bars etc that means putting anything of your own in it is virtually impossible with emptying there stuff out. Also, no sharp knives, or proper cooking utensils... Staff - We tried on 5 different occassions to speak to reception and it was either hung up on, put on hold or not even answered...
A free upgrade and enjoyed the pool
Car park was full
convenience to Parramatta and transport.
inconsistent pricing per night, and high cost of room
Certain staff were very helpful particularly with storage of my luggage however some staff were not friendly and warm.
All staff were not welcoming and warm.
The balcony you could go out on
The appartment was clean, very quiet, comfortable, and well equipped. The hotel was well situated, within a short walking distance to the station.
We were looking forward enjoying a relaxing bath after a long busy day but there was no bubble bath and my husband had to go and buy some. This is only a small detail but we would expect bubble bath or liquid bath soap in a room of this standard.
I loved the spa bath that was in our room
