I spent $200 for a one night sty on a Wednesday, and the room had no refrigerator and it was also an additional $30 to park over night
Rooms were perfectly adequate - bed fine, our shower worked, hot water and Internet worked fine too. Read the fine print - parking not included!
Poor service - breakfast was poor, service there was poor, front desk was mixed fine when I checked in but when my mom told them about a leak in their window, no note taking, no interest and no improvement.
Location location location!
Only outer shower curtain, so bathroom floor flooded. Sink drain a little backed up. Checked in online then waited 20 minutes to get room key whole staff took people behind us in line to pay for parking. Interrupted me and told me to wait when I attempted to ask a question- rude!
Clean, simple and nice staffs
There were no tooth brush and bath robes.
Very helpful staff with great Old City location. Our view looked onto the cemetery where Benjamin Franklin is buried. Don't miss Old City Coffee at 1136 Arch St.
Way nicer than I expected, stayed with a group of 6 groomsmen for a bachelor party and took a cab to fish town to go out. Good service and friendly staff.
They didn't let us bring cots into our two rooms with double beds because it was against fire codes.
Friendly stuff that let us check in before 12pm and extended our check out time so kids can use the pool and other hitel facilities. Conveniently located within walking distance to the old town
Easy walk to historic sites.
Front desk staff was great.
They are ALWAYS so friendly and accommodating. This year was no different. About ready to go ahead and book for the 5th consecutive year. Thank you!
Fantastic linens, beds, and pillows! Although two rooms of friends booked separately, I called the day before to request rooms close to each other, and was hoping to be at least on the same floor. We were right next to each other. Very good location. Can walk through Old City and to to the waterfront easily. Big bathroom. "Premium" room included mini-fridge and microwave for about $8 more than standard/"deluxe" room.
The toilet seat was not clean upon arrival. And there was something on the shower curtain. Parking was pricey in their garage ($30 a night at the time of our stay, which was a Saturday night) Mini fridge was OFF, so you had to wait for it to cool itself down before it was at all useful.
We found all of the staff to be exceptionally friendly. In fact, pulling into the parking garage, we were welcomed by a grounds keeper! It was nice to be able to pull in and park temporarily out in front of the hotel lobby at check in, although it should be noted that parking is on 4th street, and not on Arch street. The location is great! you are only 2 blocks from Independence square, shopping, and restaurants. We were in town for the marathon, so it met all of our needs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
The room cleanliness could have been better. There were many hairs in the bathroom, including one on the floor mat/towel. There were red drink straws left under one of the beds, and hairs found in the drawers, but nothing to make me want to change rooms. We did not report these issues. We were on the second floor, and we were right above a bus stop, so we heard a little bit of street noise, but not too bad. My biggest complaint is there is not a differentiation between heater and air conditioning on the thermostat, you just set the temperature. Upon checking in it was set at 79 degrees, and it was hot. We could not get the room cool enough for our liking to sleep in the extremely soft beds. No microwave in the room, although you can use the microwave in the lobby. No refrigerator either.
Relatively good location to downtown about .7 away and quiet since it was on the weekend. Room was comfortable. Good rate for stay.
I ran the marathon and they charged an extra $75 for a late checkout per hour. That wasn't super helpful. Parking was expensive. Staff was fine but not amazingly friendly. But overall it was fine.
Adequate workout facility. King-sized bed was comfortable.
No remote control on arrival until finally found it under the bed, with crumbs. Desk staff was not attentive, continued to help people that arrived after me while I patiently waited. Feel of the room was that of a den with old fixings, and bathroom was Motel 6 quality.
The staff was amazing and beyond helpful. We were close to all of the attractions, and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
Excellent location, staff, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave. Easy self parking.
Loud street noise at times. Near fire house. Could use better sound proofing. Less noise at night. Bring ear plugs.
afraid to use anything because of the extra charges
Beds were extremely comfortable and location was fantastic for Old Town walking tour
Bathtub did not drain and we asked 3 times to have it fixed but never was, no fridge/safe in room, pool outside only
