This hotel was just okay. It has clearly been refurbished more than once. The TV was from the '90s I'm pretty sure, and the universal remote didn't work, you had to shake it and something rattled inside, then it would work. Plus, the thing (remote) was filthy! Have never seen one that bad. The rest of the room and hotel in general were quite clean but outside of our room were some spare cots chained up to the wall! LOL! Access was not great. Only one poorly placed driveway in and out. Out you could only turn right which was incredibly inconvenient. The parking lot was dismal. I don't think it has ever been redone. Like I said, it was okay, I only needed to stay for one night and my daughter's team was staying there for their State competition so rather than pay upwards of $130 to go across town to a nicer area, I opted to stay where she was. Oh my gosh! I almost forgot about the 'pillows'! We had to go to Walmart and buy a couple of cheap pillows. The pillows at the hotel could only b...

The price was what attracted me as I was just staying one night on a business trip. It was ok, nothing fancy, old school tube TV but I was comfortable and It was very quiet and I slept good. The free breakfast was not worth bothering with, nothing hot except what you could toast or boil, no eggs or sausage to be found.Go next door to Denny's or down the street to Cracker Barrel. ... more |
