At the Palazzino di Corina the use of iron, stone and wood have all been skillfully incorporated in this distinctive hotel, which is one of the older buildings in a townsteeped in history and tradition. The Mansion Corina was the vision of the forefather of the family, who dreamed of creating a noble home full of character and atmosphere. The exterior stonework, the period style windows, the individually furnished rooms and the beautiful cobbled courtyard all combine to induce a feeling of living in times past. Outside, the lanes and alleyways of the Damvergi and Athanasiou Diakou district still reflect the history of the town, evoking the sights and sounds of a by gone era. 29 luxurious rooms allow guests to dream of the opulence of yesteryear and experience the deep rooted tradition which is the heritage of the Cretan people. Situated near to the fortress and the old harbour, the Corina provides a unique and exclusive environment, combining a traditional setting with state of the art amenities. The building holds many memories, creating a wonderful ambience which allows a stay here to become a dream that everyone will want to experience.
Everything, it was a lovely, quaint little place, very clean, and unique..only since it was winter season, the restaurant was not open...but it was a safe area and we could walk around easily at night.
The only thing that happened that was wrong was the lady at the desk recommended a taxi cab who in the end ripped us off on the price by 25. euros...which is a lot when we are converting our money back into canadian...$200 for a taxi from there to the airport was unreal, i feel they should know about this.

Rooms on first and second floors without elevator. Probably difficult for handicapped guest
