Over the years it has been carefully restored with respect for the old building and its genuine atmosphere. Hotel Dagmar is situated on the main square in Ribe, right opposite the 900-year old cathedral with new decorations by the Danish artist Carl-Henning Pedersen. The Viking museum, Wadden Sea Centre & Monastery are all within walking distance of the hotel.
