Welcome to BEST WESTERN Executive Hotel! Innsbrook is near this Richmond hotel, a property that’s a favorite for extended stays and guests in town for university events. Staying close to the University of Richmond means home games and special events like graduation, and visiting students and faculty can enjoy a short commute to campus. The convenient location on Broad Street makes restaurants and shopping walkable so that travelers have easy access to everything they need. However, a prime location is just part of what makes a property ideal. Friendly staff and a competitive rate are also important. With the HCA Hospital just a short drive away, medical employees and those in town to visit loved ones can also take advantage of short commute times. In fact, it’s our location to the interstate, restaurants and businesses that makes this Richmond hotel so popular. Being close to universities including VCU, U of R, VUU and JSR means we specialize in longer stays such as professors who need a home away from home for a semester. Whether in town for little league games or a lacrosse match, staying at the right hotel can make a world of difference. Sports are a way of life here for soccer fans and Flying Squirrels baseball fans alike. Plus, we have a reasonably priced meeting room perfect for small business get-togethers. However, employees of Dominion Power, Altria and other big businesses also depend on our Richmond hotel for business guests. Those in town for CSX Railroad business or an annual Siemens convention find it easy to blend business and leisure. The Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens are nearby, and we’re close to James River rafting opportunities. The NASCAR races at the Richmond International Raceway draw a crowd, and nothing beats a Richmond Kickers soccer game. Start planning your getaway at BEST WESTERN Executive Hotel today! Enjoy your stay.
Room was basically comfortable with good temperature control. There were enough lamps and pillows and the shower was also adequate.
Wi-fi was very slow at times, not very reliable. I had difficulty sleeping well on the beds and the pillows were too high. The restroom was also too small. One of the entry cards did not work properly.
the location was close to the interstate was not to many people at the hotel
i was given a smoky room (i supposedly booked it like that, so they say,evn though i looked very carefully before finalazing my pay and didnt see any specifications as far as smoking/none smoking) when i asked to switch to a none-smoking room, i was told that i will have to pay 15$ for that(even though i mentioned that i travel a lot and us this particular hotel all the time, they would not give me any breake) on top of that the front dest person, Suzy(somehting like that) looked upset that she had to come out of her office to begine with and to my question if she could do anyting to wave this change fee(since the hotel was far from full and i am a regular customer) , she answered strongly and firmly NO! She acted really angry and when i mentioned that i will say that in the review, she saied "then i will reply and lets see" and "Have a good day sir" (in an "i hate you" tone, while grinding her teath ) in the morning there were no eggs in the breakfast, the lady at the dining room saied that they dont always get them
The office lamp that had outlet plugs. Coffee was decent with continental breakfast as were the biscuit and gravy.
The refrigerator in the room had an operating buzzing sound that was loud. Justin at the front desk was nice and seemed to have a great repoire with all of the guests.
The location is good for us. The rooms are clean.
I believe a shirt was stolen from our room. It was dryng on a hanger next to the ironing board when we left the last morning we were there. I realized the next day, when we got home, that it had not been on that same hanger when we packed our stuff to come home. I'm not accusing anybody, but I wonder why it wasn't there. I did not miss it until I got home. The bed pillows are too hard, and the sheets are too stiff and starchy.
I had to travel down to Richmond to take an orientation and a written exam so I stayed at this Best Western. Very clean rooms, quiet since I didn't see too many people but I prefer it that way. The gentleman behind the desk, Justin, was very sweet and helpful during my stay. They had a variety of things for breakfast, your normal bagels and cereals. They have a waffle maker!!! But all in all, a good and relaxing stay. All rooms have microwaves and refrigerators which was a definite plus! I would recommend this hotel.
