Arrived 15 minutes before 3 o'clock check in told could not checkin till 3 then walked away. Lady and gentleman in wheel chair behind us turned away to must wait till 3. The hotel and casino were empty why wait?
This place is cheaper than the others for a reason. The hotel smells like a smoky, old, dirty hotel. Smoking is allowed at all casinos, but after visiting the other casinos this one has the most smoky, musty smell. The suite was a suite, but the floors and furniture were dirty and old. The tv had lines going thru each channel, probably bc it was an old tube tv. Wi-FI is not free, it's $11. I didn't expect something brand new, but I expected at least the quality of a Holiday Inn but did not get it. This place is in desperate need of a remodel.
We liked going to the casino and gambling as well as the restaurants inside the casino.
We paid upwards of $150 for one night stay in a king bed suite (only single bed room available) and the room was disgusting. It was damp and the windows were condensated, the televisions were old, the sheets and blankets were old and needed to be replaced, the lights on the wall were rusty as was the shower curtain rod and vents in the room. The shower curtain was moldy. Everything was dusty and there was a weird high-pitched ringing in the bathroom. It was ghetto to say the least.
1) Mosquitos, mosquitos everywhere - overrun 2) Sub par deluxe room 3) Smoking, smoking everywhere even at lobby 4) Sub par food 5) No real cafe
Can't think of anything I personally liked about this place
Run down resort, casino is geared towards slots, very small selection of table games, very dirty, rooms were dirty as well. Hotel room floors seemed to have a film of filth on them. Buffet was sub par. During our stay here, we played at other casinos, primarily the gold strike and horse shoe, both of which had outstanding casinos.
It was a cheap room, if you like gambling the casino is okay.
I was in a non-smoking room, but the entire floor and building smelled like smoke, because people were smoking everywhere. Also, the floor in my room was sticky.
