I liked the Prize
Staff was not welcoming.
Breakfast - sorry a 'grab and go' cart with a little fruit and some granola bars is not a 'breakfast'. For planning purposes, please be upfront with the breakfast particulars if you are going to advertize 'breakfast'.
They are remodeling, the new rooms are nice
Our first room had a dirty toilet, but the second was fine.
Warm inviting new decor.
No drinking cups provided in room. Having to ask for such things.
I liked the location.
Did not like the staff. Not warm at all. The website should have reflected that it was under construction. While it is a Non-smoking building. There is heavy smoking all around building. It's pointless to say they are non-smoking facility.
No hot breakfast, rude staff, lazy staff, overall the service was bad!
Typical ESA, affordable, clean and safe.
The stove and refrigerator
The employees were rude and not hospitable..
We like the shuttle bus to Mayo and the privacy given by the staff.
While I understand that for some mayo patients and disabled person, a firm bed is necessary...this is not the case for their caregiver. The bed was like a rock.
It had a kitchenette.
The staff was almost grumpy and for my Mayo Clinic running 20 minutes over I was charged 28$!:(
Room was large and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
I was happy with all aspects of my stay.
Enjoyed the Kitchen area if staying for awhile
Would have been nice to have queen beds instead of full
Decent price and location.
Only a continental breakfast. Thought the kitchenette might include some cooking implements or utensils, but such was not the case.
kitchen flat screen
The check in person had a terrible attitude and we had to wait until 4 to check in even though check in time was 3. We had a baby along that needed a nap and diaper change but no restroom. The hotel clerk would not work for me if I owned the business.
cleanliness, smell, no public areas/lobby
The 1 Queen non-smoking we were offered had not been cleaned since the previous people checked out. The beds were not made, several dirty towels were on the bathroom floor, and there was ice in the sink! Total disaster/disappointment!!!!
It was located in a good area. Easy access to the freeway and shopping
The carpets in the halls and in front of the elevator was extremely soiled. No maid service and we had to go to the front desk for linens, plastic glasses. Hotel soap was terrible. Carpet in the roon was also stained. A hole was cut out under the window
Very spacious and having the availability of the kitchen is very convenient and concise. This is a great place if you are visiting for a extended doctors apointment. The room gives the feel of a apartment rather than a hotel
The next room over was loud at 4 AM but sometimes this can be expected at Rochester because of the mayo clinic. Surgery apointment can have a check in time of 7AM. So it was inconvenient but understandable.
Would be Nice to Have Coffee In the room Instead of having to go to the Lobby and bring it back to the roo, Lots of Coffee Stains in the Carpet from People Spilling it on the way to the Room
not well maintained
Lousy breakfast. Few vending machines.
rooms are comfortable.
people above stayed up till 2 am watching t.v. loudly
The price was great & the facility was relatively clean.
It seems chintzy. The continental breakfast had one fruit, one cereal choice... They charge extra for an in room coffee maker. Come on! hotels buy coffee makers for less than $20. Coffee packets cost them less than 25 cents each.
Able to get ground floor Close to door for somewhat handicap't access.
No drive through for pick up,delivery.in rain.
Very new and spotless hotel building. Very quiet construction that I couldn't hear others. Wonderful night of sleep.
Road to hotel is not directly off interstate and was confusing at first.
easy in and out.
wish they had a computer. (public use)
Clean, new and great price with free breakfast and Internet. Worked out great!! Would definitely stay at Extended Stay America again!! Plus pillow top mattress!!
I love Extended Stay America overall. I love the usual spaciousness of the rooms, laundry room, free breakfast, and best of all access to a kitchenette.
Theresa is not friendly. 3 days after requesting kitchen supplies, I had to track them down to get them. Stayed 16 days, maid service only twice. Had to take my own garbage out daily and twice had to take my own dirty towels down to get more.
The room was clean and nice. The bed was very comfortable.
The room was bare bones. Very inadequate breakfast, just snack bars, muffins and coffee.
Hair in sink and in bath tub, drab deco, in fact no decor
Bed like sleeping on a door. Toilet is low, Pillows very squishy. Laminate peeling on countertop and banding. Very cold air coming in from under heater. Water smelled of chlorine
Check in was very easy and the staff was friendly
There were several stains on the carpet in my room and the 'breakfast' choices were granola bars, an orange or instant oatmeal.
Frig and microwave
Did not provide smoke-free room despite our phone call ahead of time. Hard to find. Had a kitchen, but had to carry our own dishes to the room.
heating and cooling system
extended stays only have one bed. I was traveling with my brother. this should be known before one accepts. no area to pull up in vehicle and check in and unload. tricky to get to off of main roads.
No hair dryer in the room. Only one bed in the room.
SMOKING ROOM. No other rooms available. I have lung health issues and this is no good for me.
Full kitchen in room
None of the amenities of a regular hotel
They put us in a smoking room, which absolutely stunk. Apparently it was the only room available. It was unhealthy to stay there, and we left.
I was surprised that there was no one on duty - at the front desk - during the night time hours. There was a continuous leak in the toilet (tank). Went to tell the front desk and no one was around. Don't eat much for breakfast, but, the bar was very min
Very small hard beds. Did not shovel sidewalks after 5 inches of snow. Breakfast was bare
Location. It had a stove top and refrigerator.
The staff was not friendly. The elevator was broken; we were not notified; and we were put on the third floor in a smoking room.
Not even parking!
The front desk woman was pleasant, and got me signed in quickly. My room was exceptionally clean. Price was reasonable.
Sad to say that the only redeeming quality the hotel had was the shower, although they didn't even provide shampoo.
We were put in a smoking room. I didn't know they still had them. Like normal priceline rooms we were at the very end of the smoking hall. We smelled like a dead ashtray before we got to our room. The room had been cleaned but to very low standards.
got stuck in a smoking room on a smoking floor. Too late to change and didn't feel I should pay extra to not have one. Will not use priceline in Rochester again.
Whole hotel was smoked filled. Guess this hotel is the only one that allows smoking in all rooms. Hall ways was dirty. No soaps in the room had to buy them from front desk.
charged additional money for things the we didnt do. Claimed we were too loud- never given a phone call about it and it was a saturday night. HORRIBLE place to stay I would tell everyone I know to NOT stay here
Have gone 4 times. First time was great, but now there is only basic cable instead of expanded, internet access is unreliable, the bedding is shoddy and had holes in the sheets, and the refresh service is no longer free (yeah, you have to pay for fresh towels now). Due to construction, the hotel is no longer easily accessible and it takes 15 minutes just to get in and out of there. Won't be staying there anymore.
would like to stay here again when visiting Rochester.
I liked the accommodations for the price. Very reasonable with clean, new rooms. The frig microwave and space were great! Will return
The beds are so hard that we needed to buy a foam mattress pad to survive the 3 nights we were here. Bring an airmattress and just sleep on the floor.
