I especially liked its luxuriousness, being transported back into the nineteenth century, being surrounded by art, and just the feeling of a special hotel experience that I have not found elsewhere.
Graciiousness of the owner - Jean Yves!
Jean Ives, the owner, is an exceptional host. The hotel itself is gorgeous, fabulously located, and extremely private. Breakfast is superb and cooked to order. Walking distance to everything of interest in Safed, and an excellent place from which to explore the Galilee in Israel.
nothing at all
The design and decor is charming, and the owner is extremely hospitable. The location is terific for both the Artists Colony and the old city.
