Excellent restaurant across the street (O'Steen's) and also an interesting British Pub.
Room was reserved at xxx. The rate was xxx. I indicated I wanted the xxx rate. Upon checking, I discovered that I was charged xxx.++. Another observation is that the bathmat came from Caesars, and the heated pool was approx. 10'X12'.Room itself was OK. Just be sure you are not overcharged. NO amenities at all. If you are tired, it is fine. Just not at all what the hotel hypes itself up as.
a bit dated but clean. small pool.Older hotel which needed some updating but accommodations clean and comfortable and a close drive to downtown St Augustine. Priced accordingly.
This hotel's proximity to St Augustine and Anastasia Island attractions is great. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The free breakfast- cold cereals, muffins, coffee -is basic, but tastey and filling. Staff is very courteous.
The swimming pool is rather tiny, but we did not go there to use the pool. This hotel is very basic, and clean. Even though it is right off the main road, there was no noise to disturb the sleep. It is less than a mile away from Old St Augustine, so if you don't want to drink and drive, or if you would just prefer a nice walk over the Lions Bridge, this location is perfect.
The price and location were of equal importance.
The mattress was a little too firm, otherwise, OK.The price and convenience of location were the main points in selecting this hotel. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, so can't comment on that, but the room was clean. The TV channel selection was a bit limited, only had CNN for news, but not a big concern.
Shower head was extremely dirty. Terrible water pressure.
Floors were dirty, maid did not come, and the shower did not work properlyThe carpet was so disgusting that we had to keep our shoes on the entire time. If not our feet or socks would be black after taking two steps on it.
It was convenient and met my expectations. The hotel could use some updates. It was clearly an older hotel. The curtains were a bit tattered, the bathtub looked old, etc., but it seemed very clean. A lot of lower priced hotels are older but very dirty and makes you worry about the cleanliness of the sheets, etc., but that was not the case in this hotel at all. While there would be some improvements I could recommend, I felt very comfortable there and didn't feel worried about the cleanliness or anything. My husband and I rented the room to stay after a concert in St. Augustine on Memorial Day weekend. It was PERFECT for what we needed and the price was right. I would say that they had a mini fridge and microwave in the room, which was a nice plus. It met our needs for a room for the night. The staff was friendly. I would recommend it for a basic room.
It served our purpose and comfortable. Thanks
No, it was pretty much like most motelsIt was well located around attractions, not much of view from motel, but was not there to stay in motel, except to sleep. We were satisfied with stay.
The price was right, it was conveniently located. The staff was great.
