Pros (+) Direct access to the Riverwalk. Comfortable, but small, beds.
Cons (-) Thin walls didn’t allow good rest for either of us. We got in too late to enjoy a nice dinner & the food served from the bar/restaurant was worse than what we would’ve found at a fast food joint. $29 to park overnight is outrageous! We won’t be back.

Pros (+) The price was good for the river walk frontage. The valet was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. It was nice to have a small selection of food at the coffee bar.
Cons (-) The A/C dripped water onto the carpet. One of our room keys didn't work. The parking pass didn't work when we were ready to leave.

Pros (+) El Tropicano Hotel while close to downtown was still removed from the regular commuter traffic. No noisy ambulances or no highly traveled streets to manuever.
Cons (-) No ice machines on our floor.

Cons (-) We were looking forward to using the hotel's pool but it was closed due to construction and the website didn't mention it. The drain in the bath/shower didn't go down fast enough. In the middle of showering I had to turn off the water so the water could drain down the tub.
