Nothing fancy but looked fairly new, was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. I would stay there again. Could hear neighbors (crying baby) through the walls with alarming clarity but that's to be expected. Overall a great value.
It was a good deal for the price we paid. I jus didnt like the fact that we were in a handicap room. And housekeeping brings alot of noise wen they start cleaning.
We really liked this hotel. The staff was so helpful with area attractions and restaraunts. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean...the breakfast was hot and good with a good variety. We will DEFINITELY be coming back to this hotel and staying for our next trip to Mobile!
Wonderful experience. Staff was helpful and friendly. Very cozy room. Enjoyed the stay.
This is a good value and a short drive to Mobile. It is handy for a day trip to Pensacola. The one drawback is that it sits semi-hidden behind another hotel, and is a little difficult to spot from the highway. A plus is several restaurants closeby.
I would stay here again. Clean and quiet. Pet Friendly. Affordable.
Hotel was clean and even though there were computer issues during check-in, the staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast the next morning was above par for most 'free breakfasts' I have experienced.
Microtel is a very nice budget hotel. It is much better than most competitors in the price range. The only drawback with this particular one is that it is tucked behind another larger hotel, and isn't easy to see from the street as you are trying to find it. It was convenient for going in to Mobile and Pensacola for sightseeing. There were several good restaurants within easy driving distance.
We stayed there May 8th and used their park and cruise rate. You stay a night, the hotel van takes you to the cruise ship pier, you cruise, the hotel van picks you up at the pier and your car is safely parked at the hotel. It is a real bargain compared to the pier parking charges. The hotel was extremely clean, the rooms were large with flat screened tvs and the free breakfast was good. They even provide hot cookies in the evening. The staff was helpful and pleasant. We will definately stay here again. They even honored our AAA motorclub discount. Pets are also allowed. Its really a great inexpensive yet really nice inn.
