I was very pleased with the location. The restaurant service and food were very good.Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.
I have never stayed at a hotel that required a keycard to be used to operate the elevator. I don't understand what the purpose of this would be, as the stairs appeared to have no restriction. The heating/cooling system fan in my room was very noisy
The location and lobby
The King suite was small and the photos didn't match the room. The room had a river view but the patio was locked and the balcony needed serious repair. I was expecting a spacious more luxurious room for the price and how it was advertised.
The bed and pillows were awesome. Nice washroom.
$15 for parking not included, breakfast not included.
The location would probably be great if you had to conduct business in the downtown area. I was just stopping off for a night during a road trip, so I would have been better off getting something on the outskirts of town.
There wasn't anything about the hotel or the staff that was lacking. Great location. Very comfortable beds and pillows.
This was not the hotel's fault, but the only negative to our overall experience was a drunk hotel guest that thought it would be funny to pound on our door at 3:30 in the morning and then proceed to his room talking and singing loudly with his friends.
All staff was friendly and kind
Very busy and elevators were very slow
Scarlet is an excellent place to eat.
A little bit run down.
Great waterpark, friendly staff, very comfy beds.
Ratings are based on the rennovated rooms. Non-rennovated rooms are clean but very tired. Service is always friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable. The club rooms with the view are spacious and have a great view of the river. Queen rooms are much smaller and no view. Food service is very good. We have had a number of meals here and food is well prepared. Always stay here. Have been to a number of other hotels in the downtown area and I like this one the best. Parking is a bit awkward as it is located at the back of the hotel with no access from the back.
Hello This hotel did not meet my expectation for the money i spent. The reason for my stay was a wedding, First issue, scary elevator, fire dept was called to release people from the archaic elevators, did not feel safe. Second- If you put the 'do not disturb' sign on your door they will call you to ask if you want your room done???? this was annoying as i did not want to be disturbed, there first call woke me up (Great!! ) the second call at 4pm woke me up out a nap (GREAT!!). I thought do not disturb meant ( DO NOT DISTURB ) Third, as my room was near the elevator they decided to stack all the room service food around my door and did not remove it until 4pm when after they woke me up i saw this problem and called them. This hotels decor was out of date, there were parts of the wall paper that were peeling back?, as i was with friends i visited other guests room i noticed that there were random baby sleeper left in the hallways and were never move from there spot the entire weekend? The only good thing was the girl that checked me out, she apologizes and said the general manager would call me. No Call Epic Fail.
My kids and I enjoy going to Saskatoon for their annual Highland Competition, just so that we can enjoy the pools and waterslides at the Cavalier. Feels luxurious, yet you can really relax with the kids.
The staff here are awesome, the amenities are great - lounge, restaurant Good location on the river and in the heart of downtown. Hotel is beginning to show its age in the public areas but most rooms have been renovated and they have great beds. May be a bit expensive for what you get i Saskatoon ... if you are a SPG Member then it is worth it
