I know the elevators are being upgraded, but it was extremely frustrating to have to wait for a very long time to either go up or down in the elevators, especially when you're trying to make your way to a meeting and waiting on average a good 3-5 minutes for the elevator.
I stayed at the Westin Chosun for 10 days this spring. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms very spacious. I did not eat in any of the restaurants, but the room service was excellent - we actually thought the stone pot bibimbap was better than any we had elsewhere in Seoul. The bulgogi, too, compared favorably to what we had outside the hotel. In addition, customer service was excellent. Things were taken care of promptly and well. When we had a problem watching a movie we had rented, they not only took the charge off the bill for us, but also removed the charge for the movie we did end up watching. Additionally, we accidentally left some things in the room including a camera and some US dollars. They credited the money back to my credit card and shipped the items we had left back to the US for me - at their expense. Overall, I was very impressed.
