The location is unbeatable; it is a 5 min walk to the center, plenty of eateries nearby, bus routes on the other side..Not noisy at all..
The single room on the third floor is extremely small, and the window opens to the public terrace..
1. The extremely helpful and welcoming reception staff (one male, one female). They were charming people. 2. Reasonably convenient location for visting the city's attractions and restaurants. 3. Underground public car park some 50 metres from hotel entrance.
1. Our room (15) had no windows onto the outside of the building, and therefore no natural light. Instead, it had only a partition wall with frosted glass windows looking onto an interior roofed 'patio' on the same level. For security reasons, these windows could not be left open. The overall effect of being in the room was one of claustrophobia. On the credit side, this had the advantage of not overlooking the busy and noisy surrounding streets. 2. Plumbing in the neighbouring rooms was audible. 3. The car park, though very convenient, was expensive (18 euros per day or part day).
Location perfect right in the bustling area, balcony overlooks restaurants downstairs. Plus cute boutique hotel and spotlessly clean.
Little bit nosy at night because of restaurants downstairs, but shutters block out most of noise and it's worth it anyway for the location and balcony.
The lobby is very attractive although very compact
The room I had was the size of a shoe box and the bathroom even smaller. The bed was very uncomfortable and even though it was a small single mattress the sheets did not fit the mattress. The towels and the toilet paper were very rough.
Quaint and small.
