It wasn't bad...it was just not as good as some Super 8 hotels I have stayed in.
The room wasn't very clean. The bed didn't look like it had clean sheets. Mold/mildew around floor boards, under trim on tub. Mirror in bathroom wasn't clean or was cleaned with a greasy cloth.
It was 10 minutes from the Renaissance Fair
We asked for non smoking and got smoking
NOTHING! !!!!!!! Except the overnight receptionist, she was great.
The room was naver cleaned. BLOOD on the sheets, food and crumbs in the bed and floor, no screen on the window, got shocked every time you turned on the light switch in the bathroom & the fan sounded like it was about to come apart.
location and price
lady at desk was quite rude and snippy when checking us in. Pillows on beds are very flat and uncomfortable. Towels are not very white and clean.
The staff was rude! Our room floors were wet because the dehumidifer was full and we had to keep dumping it. We had to sleep on top of the covers because the bed sheets were disgusting! We asked for new towels and got bathroom mats instead. VERY BAD!!
It was close to the valley fair
No clean towels after our room was cleaned . The pillows were really thin.
The staff was very friendly and helped out when we needed it.
We got a smoking room that overlooked the pool area, therefore window did not open, making it smell very much. I ended up going to Target to get Lysol and Febreze.
room was disgusting, people weren't friendly, room wasn't ready upon arrival. continental brkfst was over too quickly, done at nine. Will never stay there again, crossed off my list. my father in law owned several Super 8 Motels and he would have died
Good price and close to Valley Fair.
Room was smaller than expected.
Will not stay at a super 8 again. Coffee was good. Breakfast was o.k.
Rooms were dirty & very old. Items under the bed, toilet dirty with urine, bedspreads had unclean marks, walls had splatter marks. Loud weird music and banging noises around 1-2am. Pool opens 1 hr before checkout. Screen window in pool area was ripped.
The manager was horrible!!! Threatened to kick us out at 9:30 pm without any warnings because we had children ages 6 months to 5 running around between rooms.... He said if we don't all go to our own rooms we are out!!!
Everything, awful place to stay, I can't say 1 good thing about any part of this hotel
it was cheap
i got lost trying to get there
The lobby had a over powering smell of Bleach at check-in (NOT chlorine), and as dingy, rundown and dirty as this operation was in its entirety it felt to me like they were trying to cover up some other odor. The room; 1970s, dark, dingy, dusty.
Ease of checking in.
Not enough information provided about area bars and restraunts.
Staff was professional, helpful and friendly
Bathtub calking needs to be replaced and curtain too long
The location was key.
The dirty hotel and unfriendly staff.
Front desk staff receiptionist is very nice but the hotel owner/manager was rude and unpleasant and did not make us feel welcome. Most importantly, they are not pet friendly hotel, and wanted to charge us $50 per pert (we have 2 small dogs)
Kathy who was at the desk for check in was very friendly and helpful, the pool and hot tub were clean and both had a great water tempeture. This hotel should rate higher than a 1 star. It may not be brand new but for the cost it was well worth it.
The train was a little annoying on our second night but the was the only issue which is out of the hotels control. The higher end hotel two doors down would have the sane problem.
Hottub- microwave and fridge in room!
Staff was rude
This hotel was disgusting.Very dirty room and hallways.Garbage by back entrance way was so full for both days I was there.Back door entrance handle broke.
