Pros:The staff at sixt was very helpful and friendly
Pros:Unpleasant experience trumps all the rest.
Cons:Neurotic, obsessive, compulsive scanning of car and detailing scratches not readily seen. Some legitimate damage from prior rental but a lot clearly normal wear and tear. Thankfully I did not cause any additional damage so no charges for that. Most pathetic corporate policy I have ever seen anywhere in the world. So If I had sustained a hairline scratch greater than 5 cm that was new they would have charged me....
Pros:The service provided by Neusa (employee from Sixt in Brussels Midi) was really efficient, she provided every piece of information related to the rent of the car. So I felt that was really good service and everything was according to our expectations.
Cons:Nothing
Cancelled our reservation without contacting us. Hired a taxi to take us to the rental spot only to find out it had been canceled without notifying beforehand. They only had a compact to give us when we booked a larger car. Sent us to another location at the airport which they said had our size car available, required hiring another taxi. Arrived at that location and was told they have no cars. Hired another taxi to go back to the original location and had no choice but to take the small compact or nothing. Crammed 4 people and bags into that car. Spent $100 on hired taxis. Ruined 3 days of travel plans. No discount for trouble. Only a discount because of the difference in size category. Not happy. Very, very unhappy. Will not use kayak or sixt again.
I had to cancel but the cancelation process did not work smoothly. There was no link to cancel and nobody picked up at the number provided by Kayak. A cancellation by email did not work either. In the end I had to search through Google for a page to cancel.
Pros:Collection was easy,the place was near the hotel, would drop back to airport, amazingly friendly collection, got a GPS upgrade when the lady found out where I was going, really friendly, personable and helpful Nicecar - Corsa
Cons:Drop back to airport was strange, total lack of signage led to complications and delay. GPS could be updated though, seemed a little sluggish and not 100% accurate (?)
Pros:Staff at the counter was super friendly as well as at drop off.
Sixt staff was difficult and unhelpful at pickup. Sixt in person staff and online staff both are extremely difficult to deal with and refuse to respect their stated cancellation policy.
