Pros:I received the car I wanted at a good price. Pick up and drop off were quick and as expected. Shuttle takes you from service counter to car lot which is just off airport. Sixt has always treated me well.
Pros:I like that they are fast and they give you right-away the car.
Cons:On the site the price was something and in the location they force you to buy their insurance even for one day, if you don't pay the insurance they will block 750 euros from your account. My hand was forced a bit with this policy.
The service was very good at pickup , to drop the car took longer since there was only one person working
Pros:Almost nothing. Service was a lie and post service was inexistent.
Cons:Everything. The info provided in the booking was not the same provided during the service. The post service assistance (Mr. Sergio - representante. De servicios al cliente) was absolutely inefficient and annoying. Didn’t provide any solution, didn’t review the case. Not having a telephone numbe
Cons:The line to pick up the car was quite long - about a 40 minute wait. While the staff was quite friendly and helpful, they needed more staff.

Cons:Improper marketing disclosures in violation of FTC guidelines and European Advertising Directive. Placed under time pressure to pay in advance for a “deal.” Not told of requirements buried deep 10pp Ts&Cs that rental company is instead legally obligated to make “clear and conspicuous” but either failed to or deliberately obfuscated. DisquAlified from renting for lack of international permit. Sixt refused refund despite no services rendered. I’d used them before globally to initially good but lately drastically diminishing quality of experience. They seem to be failing. Cancelled my account.
Pros:Location for pick up in Bucharest Central Car was clean, but do read the comments.
Cons:Casual attitude of the staff for scratches/damages when receiving the car from Sixt, not the same while returning to airport, Note to other users, please make sure that you check the car carefully, not just indication on paper on the car image for damages, but also what's written on the paper about the state of the car, we almost got caught as there was damage on the car not indicated on paper, but were told 'It is a problem' while returning. It needed a wait of 30 min for someone else to hear the same story and state 'car was ok'.
The rental company refused to rent us the car on arrival because we hadn't gotten an International Driving Permit. They then refused to refund us the money, asking us to go through rental cars.com, the company we originally booked it through. We went to the kiosk next door at Hertz who rented us a car for the same price without question. Be warned that some Romanian companies ask for this IDP, which can only be obtained in the US from AAA, but they do not tell you that info before you arrive there. They target US and Canada customers!
