This was probably the worst rental car experience I've ever had. The reservation did not state that the rental car counter closed at 10 pm. My flight was late and by the time I got in line at the counter, it was 9:55. By the time the agent finished with the people in front of me, it was 10:02 pm and I was informed that "the system shut down at 10 pm" and that "there's nothing that can be done. Even worse, Sixt STILL billed me and I am STILL trying to get a refund. I will never use this company again.
I was a little concerned renting from a company that is fairly unknown but it turned out to be a great choice! The car was almost brand new and the whole process was simple and easy. Their website was a little difficult to maneuver because I kept getting the information in a different language. I ended up calling a very nice gentleman to change my pickup time and he took care of it all within a couple of minutes!! When we returned the car, there was a very nice young man that made that process a breeze! I would definitely recommend this company because it did seem to be a little cheaper and everyone that I met was very nice and helpful!
Great customer service and good value
Although pickup was scheduled for 10PM. The Sixt counter was closed forcing a last minute rental from another agency and paying 4 times what I originally prepaid to Kayak/Sixt. I prepaid Kayak for my Sixt rental and Sixt would not provide refund because Kayak is a third party rental provider.
Clerk greeting and kindness. He was phenomenal. More help getting familiar with the car.
Great service and vehicle. They go above and beyond. No line either, which was amazing.
