Pros:The pickup ad dropoff was fluid fast and easy
Cons:that the people working there does not know how things work if the cer is envolved in a minor car accident. I was asked to bring a police report if I were to be involved in any type of car accident with another car. Unffortunatley another car hit mine from behind, but it was a minor and a really small and light hit. The law states in panamá that if you are involved in a minor accident you just need to fill in a universal format for minor accidents but the Sixt employees kept on asking for a police report. Also no one explained to nor even mentioned that this format existed, and you are oblige to have one in the car at all times. The only case in which a police report would have benn needed, was if I was the one responsible for the accident, or in the case the other driver would not accept the responsability, none of these were the case. After more than 3 calls to the insurance company and more than 2 hours dealing with this I was able to solve this problem.

Pros:Car for one week $13.00 and change. What a good deal. NOT. The car itself was perfect. But got gouged on "requirement to have 3rd party insurance" even after I bought rental car insurance on line to play it safe. So this great $13.00 deal for a week ended up costing me over $300.00, all in insurance coverage. Driving in Panama you really do need the insurance if your Stateside Insurance does not cover you, traffic and drivers are just as bad or worse than rush hour in Brussels.
Cons:SIXT rental car at the airport was the slowest rental process (both pick up and return) that I have ever experienced. Second time renting with SIXT. Will be the last. They suck. Panama Cops look for tourists to exploit so two things -- always keep a $20.00 inside your passport (you never know when you might have an unplanned expenditure) and use the APP WAZE.
Cons:Once you get to the counter they tell to buy insurance which is in the range of $200 - $300. The total rent was less than $100, which means the insurance is about 3x the base price. Even when I bought the insurance provided by KAYAK, they claimed that still there were obligatory charges to the amount. Will not book again with them.
Cons:They charge you 60 dollars a day for insurance. They won't except any other type. 6 dollar rental 60 insurance equals 66 a day
Cons:The pickup was incredibly slow even if I had filled all the information required before getting the car. We also end up paying a fortune once there between the compulsory insurance and the fact that their card reader didn't work.

Cons:The extra charges that are added to the vehicle and with out them you can not get your car. My flight was delayed 45 minutes and it took my luggage longer than usual to get out, I was told they only hold a reservation for 1 hour, and started to add more charges to the rental. Insurrance for tires and windshield, insurance for liability, toll fees, surcharges, etc.. Come to find out that if you go to sixt.com is cheaper.

Cons:$5 means that it's $75. So just beware and they charge you 40% more for tolls which makes no sense since you can't pay tolls with cash it's Bs
Pros:The friendliness of the agent at the rental car desk. She was helpful and didn't try to push unnecessary extras. Our three day rental was $33; with the added taxes and fees, the final price was $129. I only went with the mandatory insurance and waived the $7/day fee for tolls. When we returned the car, we paid for the tolls that were charged during our trip (in Panama, the toll booths are automated like smartpass).
Cons:The wait for pickup was long because there was only one agent working.
