Basically hotel was less than anticipated. We know what a 2 star hotel is but this shouldn't be rated that high.
photos are very misleading. In poor general condition, in definite need of repair. No bedding for 2nd bed. (shouldn't have to call for bedding)Basically we knew the availability in Charlotte Amalie was tight do to Carnival and it drives prices up. However, this xxx room should never exceed xxx, even in the Caribbean.
great staff, great views, price was great for the quality. nothing to complain about at all.great view, the room was excellent for the price. Clean and bright.
Location. There is a kitchen in the room.
Long time waiting on reception. You need a taxi to get back to hotel at night.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend had gotten sick the night before we were to check in and we arrived a couple hours before normal check in. The staff quickly prepared our room and allowed us to check in early.
The location is not great, but it is close to the airport and there is an inexpensive grocery store nearby. The roads are not made for walking (no sidewalks, low visibility around curves) so you'll want to rent a car or budget for a lot of $5 - $20 cabs. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. It featured a kitchenette and its own balcony with a view of the ocean. The dish network television was on the small side, but priceless for providing entertainment for my sick girlfriend. The Pueblo grocery store is about a fifteen minute walk down the hill and it is easy to get a $5 cab ride back up to the hotel. The only food delivery available is Domino's, but that seems to be the case for the island in general. On ...
No I was suppose to receive a map and never did after check in and then there was no one there ever my entire visit.
Roosters in close proximity bulking the entire time could hear loudly even with air on. Next, a domestic violence thing happened right outside my door and kept me awake until 3:30am when I had to be at the airport at 6:30am. Close to ferry dock and airport, friendly staff, fair price for the locale.
Somewhat rundown.OK for the price, wouldn't want to spend more than a couple of days there...to be fair, we arrived at about midnite and left at 8am so didn't see a whole lot of it.
