the temperature controls did not seem to work in the room. the restaurant staff were difficult to communicate with in English. food was ok but not great - overpriced for the quality
The restaurant food was actually pretty good.
I know it's a USA type of complaint but there was no ice and my room service request for it didn't arrive for more than an hour until I then called back and bought a can of soda pop, which arrived thirty minutes later.
The location to Sydney Kingsford-Smith airport was very good. The lobby was well kept up and the bell service was quick to unload our bags and bring them to our room. The bathroom in our standard room was well designed, including stone/granite counter tops and new(er) showers and toilets. Room includes a mini-bar.
The room was a bit dated (e.g. the lights and fixtures) and the carpet was a bit worn. The mini-bar is a bit expensive, but that's my own fault for using it! The only remaining gripe is that the airport shuttle is not free, it was $6 per person. Also the shuttle stops off at the domestic terminal first, before going to the international terminal, so factor that in when planning your arrival time to the airport.

The hotel itself was good and the staff very courteous, but the room condition left room for improvement. Shuttle service from syd to hotel was poor. It was late, in poor condition and the driver made me feel like he was doing me a favour. Next time I will take a cab. However, the Shuttle from hotel to syd was clean, courteous and pleasant. The shuttle pick-up at SYD is the 1st impression for your hotel.

One night only. Arrived very early in morning. Such a relief to find that there was no problem checking in 5 hours before normal check-in time. One member of reception staff extremely helpful at check-in and departure. No noise from aircraft. Adjoining 'pub' style eatery.
Sound from elevator doors may be heard in adjacent rooms.
I have a booking confirmation that stated a smoking room deluxe, I did not get a rooom on the deluxe floor but still had to pay the say amount to be moved from the 10 or 11th floor to the 4th floor. Also the booking confirmation stated bottled water and fresh fruit - none of tese where present in the room. I am not happy as I did not receive anyhing that was stated in my booking confirmaion and feel I should be compensated for it. When explained to the staff was told it is booking.com probem and fault, but as they are agencies for you, you should be should have listened when I arrived rather than be fobbed of, I could have chose any hotel to stay at. $380.00 and they didnt care
