Rooms are clean and it was quiet. It's near a Metro stop. The shower was fine.
Halls smelled of smoke, both tobacco and marijuana. There is a menacing vibe to the place, both from the sketchy neighborhood (windowless liquor stores, pawn shops, etc.) and the bulletproof glass between you and the front desk staff. Although the rooms are clean and the bed reasonably comfortable, the rooms look like they date from the Carter presidency.
It was less than a block from the Naylor Road Green Line Metro stop which is super convenient to get downtown without paying through the nose.
The room smelled of smoke so badly that all our clothes and hair smelled that way the next day even with a shower in the morning. The area isn't real bad, but it is a lower income neighborhood. You need to be aware and not flash a lot of money, lock your car doors, etc.
It's very close to the metro station
Dingy rooms, scary neighborhood, non-smoking rooms smell of cigarettes.
This is a very basic motel-- do not expect the usual amenjities such as hair dryers-- however, it was clean & comfortable, and the free widi worked!
No hair dryer, difficulty with the light switches.
It is very close to the subway station. That in itself saves you huge amount of time and is very convenient.
Cigarette smell in the corridor but not in my room (as advertised : non smoking room)
It was conveniently located.
I wanted to change to a larger room and wasn't allowed too. The male manager was rude as hell and inconsiderate. Like he thinks he doesn't have to be kind to someone who looks like me. He treated me like I was inconvenient to him.
Large confortable bed, clean bathroom.
The only good thing abput the hotel is the short distance to the metro station.
There was a havy smell of smoke in the room, no cofee maker, no shampoo, no hair dryer, limited TV chanells.....
