Cons:tried to rent it for next week and price almost double
Pros:Thrifty offered great rates, a low mileage car and convenient drop off.
Cons:The issue is dealing with pick up at LGA. I rushed to the door of the van and still had a 20 minute wait in line to sign up. Those poor folks behind me had a half hour or more to work with the sole counter agent.
Cons:Nobody knew where location, very poor customer service, when requested for assistance, there was not even a sign outside the building, took one hour to find the place.
Cons:Asked for prepaid gas and was told I had it. When I got to destination, realized that the initial attendant had made a mistake and not included it. I was then stuck paying 10 dollars per gallon for an empty tank and no way to correct without missing my flight. My fault for not double checking, but based on exorbitant fees, I would never use thrifty again.
Cons:when i get in the car rental has some stuff try to push me to drive out the car i didn't set up the navigator yet i told him he told me drive out and set up on the out side of the building this is so rude i think the set up car not take time so long
Cons:Here I'm trying to make my flight and I can't find the car drop off place (Laguardia). I had rented the car with the GPS and used it for directions to drop it but it ended up being a big problem. There was no Thrifty at the airport and that's where the Thrifty GPS told me to go. I searched around for it, but no go. I ended up having to google it and found a Thrifty location 10 minutes away. Even then, there was no signs stating that this was a Thrifty location. I had to ask the Dollar people and they said I was in the right place. Then I ended up with the keys in my pocket that night and I still can't use the Thrifty website to contact them and let them know that I have the keys. The people at the return tell me that they receive lots of complaints but the problem still remains.
Cons:Checkin is abominable. This is the second time i have used this location. Service is slow and there is always a long line and they are ill prepared for the number of people
Cons:We not all the way full when we picked up but thrifty gave us a $10 credit
Pros:Very accommodating service.
Cons:The pickup location was inconvenient and incredibly slow, I spent 90 minutes in line waiting to be served. Customer service was very poor as well.
