Too much chlorine in pool.
So clean!! Smelled fresh, bathrooms were spotless, room was spacious.
The breakfast was horrid. They DID have a waffle maker that people lined up for but no other decent choices. Yogurt, cereal with no milk (8:30am), packaged cinnamon danish. That was it. Good thing I didn't count on breakfast.
Location easy to find and was suited perfectly for our needs; travel to visit family members and other business, during our extended stay. Clean place and adequately supplied breakfast area.
Do not like the room bed pillows, reminds me a piece of 'Chiclets' gum. Bath towels are too small and you're unable to get fully dried off after bath or shower. Room supply of facial tissues ran out and did not get any replacement from housekeeping.
Extremely clean and we'll kept.
Smelled a little funny
we liked that the pool didn't smell really strong chlorine and didn't burn my eyes. Everyone was nice. Good location
Wish the rate were a little lower but nice place
Nice hotel up to date
Rooms where dirty beds smelled of farts
Need to expand (improve) breakfast selections. Waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt and cereal doesn't hack it. Need to add add options like scrambled eggs, sos, sausage etc.
Easy to find
It was close to the highway's restaurants were nearby staff was very friendly
This one is a sleeper. It has a great staff and the whole place was surprisingly clean and neat. This would be my lodging of choice any time I am in the area.
Nothing comes to mind.
Easy to check in. Accomodating.
Quiet. Great location. Staff was excellent. Really nice for super 8.
Bathroom could use a little work. Paint and patch mostly.
It was cheap.
The bed spread was stained, breakfast was very limited, pool was ok.
Location was good
Water not hot just warm for each shower. Found 2 roaches...1 in the bathtub, one ran under the door from the hall.
Convenient location right off the freeway. Friendly staff.
Facility desperately needs renovation. Room cleanliness could have been better (i.e., there was plastic flatware behind the furniture, and there was a musty odor from the AC unit). But, for the price, it was adequate.
Great hotel for the price. The room was clean, had a refrigerator and microwave, and the air conditioner worked great. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay.
The Location was perfec
Not very friendly staff nor was it particularly clean
Worst beds I have ever had at a hotel. They didn't clean the room or make the bed. They alsoleft the garbage can on top of the sink and some garbage in the sink.
Only wish the pool was larger it became very crowded
The motel is located immediately adjacent to I-55/I-70 near the I-270 interchange. The nearby town of Troy is small, only the truck stops and the McDonald's were open late. Better to go to Edwardsville a few miles away for its shopping and services. My room was quiet, reasonably spacious, and well kept. The window lacked a sheer curtain; if you want sunshine, forget privacy. The bed was very comfortable. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. In my non-smoking room, I could detect a faint odor of cigarette smoke, presumably coming in from the smoking floor above. This was not enough to be objectionable. The lobby had a distinct odor of cigarette smoke and the hallway smelled of disinfectant. Neither was a big deal to me. Staff was friendly and helpful, though there were a few minor housekeeping lapses. The free breakfast choices were limited but adequate. A Cracker Barrel restaurant is next door if you prefer a wider choice. I did not take advantage of the pool and hot tub during my stay. Overall I would not hesitate to stay here again.
We were simply looking for a bed for the night and found this hotel perfectly fine. It had a small hot tub that was enjoyable and the pool was fine. It is an older hotel but certainly met our needs.
We enjoyed our stay in Troy The hostess at the front desk was very friendly and the rooms were very nice It was a short drive to St. Louis for us to go to the game and we would pick this place to stay if we come again.
We stayed here for a weekend visit to St. Louis, MO. The hotel is clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and stocked regularly. The pool and hot tub are small, but are indoor which made it nice when it stormed that evening. My teenage boys enjoyed both. The staff allowed us to be in the pool/hot tub after hours and even brought out more towels because all of the pool towels were gone off the shelf. Microwave/Refridge in your room. A/C was nice and cool which was a plus with 95/100 degrees outside!!! Check in/Check out was easy and fast. Friendly Staff!! This hotel is 18 miles from St. Louis. We would stay again!!!
I had a quick overnight business trip and all I needed was a basic place to sleep and shower. Everything here worked fine and was clean. Wireless internet worked and breakfast was ok, no problems. Not fancy, not 4 star, but a decent budget hotel. Mex restaurant and bar right next store so its convenient.
