Free waffles at night all through August and the breakfast was really great. Loved the pool and hot tub.
Didn't like the soap left in the shower from the previous occupant.
The rude unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Complaints were made. Will NEVER stop in Tucumcari ever again.
More luggage carts would be nice.
Cleanliness and friendliness of staff.
Great breakfast , friendly staff
The beds were awful! It was like sleeping on a trampoline.
Ease of checking in.
Pool was out of service. Not a big deal.
Staff was nice, room/hotel was very clean, and the hotel is close to almost all the restaurants in town.
Some fitness room was way too hot (85 degrees) and some equipment wasn't functional (treadmill and stationary bike), the billiards table/cues were pretty worn down, and the vending machines weren't stocked at all.
Exceptionally nice and professional front desk staff. Great room and bed!
They were out of milk and a couple other things at breakfast ... 'All out till truck arrives ...' Sounds like bad planning ... And here are grocery stores in town! Overall though a very good stay.
The bathroom was great!
We stayed here in June for a wedding. The rooms themselves were very nice. Much nicer than I expected.
It is convenient to the highway, not a bad hotel.
We asked for a non-smoking room, which we didn't get and their non-smoking & smoking rooms are on the same floor. Smoke can be smelled as soon as you exit the elevator.
The breakfast and the lady that puts the breakfast together were excellent.
The room had an odor, the carpet looked like it needed vacuumed and appeared soiled. Also, there were long hairs on the floor in the bathroom. We were very disappointed; stayed here twice before on cross country trips.
Big rooms and comfortable bed
Our room was larger than expected and the beds had very comfortable mattresses. After lugging our stuff into multiple hotel / motel rooms during the course of a 2 week car trip, the luggage carts were appreciated. Breakfast was one of the best we had on the road with real variety (good cinnamon rolls).
This hotel is by far the best place to stay when you are in the area. The hotel is new and well kept. We really enjoyed the indoor pool and steam room. The game room and outdoor basketball court was great for the kids. Love the pancakes in the morning. Will stay again
I would stay at this Holiday Inn Express again. The room was very clean, but the hotel was fairly noisy. You could hear footsteps coming from the room above us. The continental breakfast was extremely good.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Tucumcari, it was one of the best places we have ever been to. It is as impressive as the pictures show if not more. This hotel has everything then some. The staff is simply amazing. The hotel is clean, the beds are to die for. This one is a keeper.
Fast and friendly service and check-in. Very clean and new appearing. Room was also clean. Refrigerator in room was missing so no cold drink or pizza storage. Our room was facing south towards the freeway. The windows wouldn't hold back the freeway noise so you could here every 18 wheeler going down the road....loudly! The a/c-heater only has 3 settings: heat, cool, and off. There is no fan so it constantly cycles on and off and makes a very loud noise when cycling on so if you're a light sleeper it may wake you up. Was trying to use the a/c-heat to drown out the freeway noise unsuccessfully. It could not be kept on as it had a digital thermostat so when it registered the set temp it would turn off. Even if set at the lowest temp '60 deg' it would cycle off and on. I would recommend bringing a fan to help with the freeway noise. The shower curtain liner in the bathroom was to short to stay inside the tub so you had to put the outside curtain in the tub and it was almost to short to keep the water in. If you're not carefull you may have a large puddle of water on the floor causing damage that you may be responsible for. All in all it was a good hotel but they used very cheap windows and insulation so your level of quietness is poor. I will use them again as I use mostly Holiday Inn Express's but next time I will be better prepared by requesting a room on the north sided and bringing a fan
This Hotel should be given a award for thier product and serivce. Every one was very friendly and the service was great. I would recommend that everyone visiting Tucumcari,NM try to stay at this hotel. The Value vs Price, was well worth it. They should consider having this hotel in Las Vegas,NV.
