Clean, good breakfast. Friendly staff. Hotel building is kind of old. Some stuff needed repair but overall fine.
Alarm clock didn't work. Then we discovered the phone didn't work when we didn't receive the wake-up call we requested (because the clock didn't work!) The same night we had to unplug the t.v. because the batteries in the remote died. Front desk wasn't able to handle these problems and I had to call the manager while I away from the hotel to get these issues resolved. Once management was involved, problems were resolved but I wish the hotel had a procedure to review the amenities proved in the room!
The rooms where very small , and not enough refrigerator or mircowaves . The hotel put hold on my card and it taking days to be removed.
We had originally booked a non-smoking 2 queen room. Once we got onto the floor of our room, the entire hallway stunk of stale cigarette smoke and we found that our room allowed smoking. We went back down to the lobby and asked to be switched. They said that our reservation got changed because they assumed it wouldn't be a big deal. They didn't have any more 2 queen rooms available so we had so share a single king bed, but they did upgrade us to a suite. They also offered to move us to a sister hotel, but we weren't familiar with the area. As long as you're comfortable sleeping in the same bed with your travelling partners or smelling smoke then I highly recommend!
We stayed three nights at the Baymont. It was inexpensive and clean enough. The breakfast bar is above average. The lady who works it is top notch. However, the hotel is extremely LOUD. You can hear traffic from I-44 all night. Worse, we were on the third floor and one night, someone in the room above us sounded as if they played basketball in their room for about 90 minutes or so beginning at about 10:30 P.M. Calling the front desk was a total waste if time; whoever the kid was who FINALLY answered the phone was oblivious. The last night we stayed there, there was also a strange sewer gas smell. I sprayed Lysol but the room still smelled like a dead mouse for several hours. I don't know if we'll go back there or not. There are a lot if other hotels in a similar price and comfort range.
The lobby was a little unkempt and the parking lot needs a resurfacing. But other than that, this hotel was priced well, comfortable and quiet.
The staff was very nice ! Great price, nice location! We stayed during the Tulsa State Fair and it was a short drive away! I will be back next year!
I booked my smoking room a month in advance and when I arrived they had overbooked the hotel, leaving me with only a non smoking room. They tried to tell me that they had no idea of how something like this could happen!!! Will never stay at this hotel again, with all the road construction that is going on right in front of it made it a nightmare getting in and out!
The staff at this hotel was great...helped me find my way to the hotel through the construction and then showed me how to avoid the construction during my stay, always professional and with a friendly greeting. Room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was great, And the price simply cannot be beat.
Enjoyed our stay. Pet friendly with restaurants in walking distance.
It was our first experience with a Baymont Hotel. It has been a year since we stayed there, therefore we don't remember all the details, but signed up for membership in the Wyndham group, of which Baymont is a member, because we liked the hotel. Only regret is Baymont has limited properties, not available in many areas.
we stay there, when we visit our son. we've always had a nice, clean room. it has a convenient location for us, improved even more when the construction is completed.
Stayed four nights at the Baymont and we were pleasantly surprised. Room was a good sized King, very clean, with ample towels, etc. Staff was very friendly. Wifi for our laptop worked great. Nice sized desk & furnishings. Only down side was the continuing road construction going on in Tulsa. They are redoing all roads surrounding the area. Luckly we had our Garmin GPS, so it lead us to it.
I was extremely disappointed in our stay at Baymont. When we checked in the motel's records showed us requesting a king sized non smoking and a double smoking room. We had order both rooms non-smoking. The desk clerk was stubborn, but finally accommodated us. One of the reasons for selecting that motel was that it had a swimming pool. The first night when our girls went to the pool they were informed that the pool was closed for repairs. No one at the desk was aware of the problem and could not tell us when it would be open. As it turned out, it did not open during our stay. One of our girls cut her leg and when she went to the front desk to see if they had a bandaid, she was told no by the desk clerk who was eating at the time. Later, she asked another clerk who supplied her with a bandaid. Finally, our fifteen year old daughter was 'hit' on by one of the motel's maintenance people. This was my first stay at a Baymont Inn. However, before I retired, in my job I had frequently placed out of town visitors in the local Baymont. I plan to advise my replacement of the experiences we had in Tulsa.
Would stay again. Very nice employees. Was a little disappointed in pool area. Could use a little bit of assistance. Overall our stay was very nice and breakfast was good, comfortable bed and room was clean. Keep up good work.
Overall was satisfied. No complaints. Room was clean. I would stay there again. Never felt unsafe. Liked that it was right off the highway....although there was a lot of construction on the highway and access roads, but that is nothing the Hotel can help. I got a good deal on a suite....so I liked the value.
The Baymont Inn and Suites in Tulsa Oklahoma is a perfectly adequate place to spend the night. While it is in desperate need of a remodel, the carpet needs stretched or replaced and the whole place is hosed down in Pepto Pink, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good and they served until 10:00 a.m. which was convenient. The most challenging part of our stay was how difficult it was to actually get to the hotel. Tulsa is in the process of rerouting I-44 and the Baymont is right on this Interstate. You could see the hotel but you could only come to it from one direction. We finally found a way to weave through several parking lots to get to the hotel. Hopefully this problem will be solved when road construction is completed.
Styed in July 2008. Telephone would not work. When told I needed the phone, that my mother was dying and I may not have made it here on time, they said they would work on it, but I had to come back down to the desk and give them my credit card again. I was told because I booked through a online travel agency, the phone was not turned on. I went down and gave them the card number, then waited and tried the phone periodically. After calling the desk and checking on how much longer turning the phone on would take for about 20 minutes, I left to go to the hospital to see if I could locate my family not knowing if my Mom was still there or if she had passed away and was no longer there. When I passed by the desk, the lady was checking in more guests. Obviously, that was more important than any emergency the other guests had. I stayed there 5 nights, and the phone never was turned on. (Although they did charge me an additional fee for the phone.
I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the years, but will not do so again. Carpeting is coming off the floor, room was very musty, the whole place has just gotten very run down with no sign of remodeling in sight. And the neighborhood isn't looking too great either.
Terrible neighborhood. There was a sign posted at desk about car break-ins. I parked in the back where there was more lighting only to find the backdoor unlocked. It was taped with duct tape, I guess it was broken. Trash all over in hallways and trashcans over flowing everywhere. Staff was really nice but hotel was dirty and very rundown.
The Baymont met my expectation for a reasonable price. The Internet access is a plus.
This was our first stay at this property, but friends have stayed there several times in the past. Some of the furnishings were showing signs of wear, which may be attributable to a reputed change in ownership in the past year. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. It is hard to find the property, but once you figure out how to get to it, it is really a convenient spot. The breakfast could stand some improvement, though, as there was not much variety. Save your confirmation because there was some confusion at registration concerning the room rates.
We selected the hotel in part becasue we were planning on lounging by a pool. After we checked in we foun the pool was closed. We were expecting a non-smoking room. We did not get a non-smoking room.Otherwise it was a typical Baymont Hotel. This was by far the worst experience with a Baymont. But keeping this in perspective, I will stay in a Baymont Hotel again, and possibly this one.
Right off the interstate, but far away enough it isnt loud. comfortable rooms, very polite staff. Rooms are dated, but comfortanle. adjacent to restaurants and a small amusement park for the kids. will stay again
