Excellent value restaurant, popular with lorry drivers. No this isn't Watford Gap Services - you'll get a proper 3 course meal - traditional Spanish style including wine all for $11. You can't get better value than this in Spain (if you don't mind sharing with smokers). I got the dates mixed up and booked a night too early, but helpful receptionist let me stay with no extra charge.
This is very much a service station location with basic rooms. Follow signs to Ruta de Europa when coming off motorway - sat nav lat/long takes you to entirely the wrong location.
fish soup and steak excellent though soup could have been hotter
Reception in a different building, lack of proper directions to access when coming from the incoming lane of the motorway.
Was perfect to sleep in trip to Europe
Ideally situated for motorway stop en route to ferry at Bilbao. Excellent value for money with air conditioned room and TV bath and shower. Full bar and restaurant facilities. Efficient reception staff who spoke good English. very welcoming after a 500 mile journey that day.
There was nothing to dislike ,the only problem I had was that the map wasn't quite accurate the hotel is at junction 341 not 342 and is right on the side on the A1 ruta del europa so I had to do a couple of U turns to get to it having driven straight past it.
