Non smoking room with an ash tray wasn't a good start. The room reeked of smoke and chemicals to cover up the smell. Other than that the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
I booked this hotel 2 weeks ago for my stay and I was not disappointed in anyway. I highly recommend this hotel!!
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was in excellent condition. AND breakfast was great!
Well, what is there to say about Waco, TX...? Not much. However, the Hampton Inn Waco is another story...from the homemade cookies, usually breath mints (thumbs down) at other 'Inns,' offered at check-in/out to the immaculately authored Waco Tribune, digested over a cup of steaming southern coffee prepared by none other than Folger's himself! Hey, with an imagination, anything may be rated an 11 out of 10.
Our stay was very last minute. They upgraded our room because we arrived early, I thought this was great custmer service. The breakfast was very good and there was no shortage of any of the food items. I would stay here again.
The hotel was easy to access and located close to all the places we were visiting. They also offered shuttle service to the Baylor university football game! Rooms were very nice. Staff was friendly. Offered good options for breakfast too. I enjoyed my stay.
We have stayed at this location for several years and continue to return. Rooms are very clean, nice, bed linens are new and ironed. TV has been upgraded to flat LCD 40'. Staff is honest (I left my cell phone which was mailed to me) and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Booked a non-smoking room for 3 nights, 6 weeks in advance. Checked in, signed statement I would not smoke in room. Went to room, stunk to high-heaven with smoke. Went back to desk, they stated they had no other rooms. Checked out and went somewhere else. Talked to another person the next day that was attending the same seminar and was told he checked in and was given a non-smoking room even though he requested a smoking room. Go figure. My last stay at Hampton Inns.
The staff was very helpful and made you fell very welcome. The rooms were and nice, and very comfortable.
