The staff was my favorite part of this experience. From the time I checked in until I checked out, the staff was attentive and offered helpful suggestions to make my stay more pleasurable. Overall, the quality of customer service was excellent.
Only one minor issue. The door to my room had obviously been remodeled and there was a small gap from about waist height to the floor. You could actually see the light from the hallway through the gap. Not a major complaint but it did annoy me.Overall good location with easy access to I-35 and the majority of Waco's attractions.
The pricing was adequate and acceptable considering the last minute reservation. The complementary breakfast was greatly appreciated.
The pungent smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors and hallways; however, the smell was not evident in the room. The staff was polite and considerate. I was offered a wake up call at check-in by Rolando as well as a list of dining facilities within proximity of the hotel.
Location and price
Not really, it was what I expected for the money. When looking for an inexpensive hotel for a nights stay, this hotel fit the bill. If your expecting more than that, you would have to kick in some more cash. My overall experience was good, the staff was very friendly and helpful. All though close to the interstate, the noise level wasn't bad at all.
I like the hotel very much, I have stayed there a few times.
The carpet in room 101 was filthy. We showered in the morning. About two hours later I noticed my sons feet were black from dirt. I commented to him that he did not wash his feet. He told me my feet were just as black as his. And they were! We had been walking on the carpet bare foot as we packed and our feet were not gray, they were black! The fact that the carpet made our feet that dirty is so bad we can't forgive that. I like the hotel, the rates are good, the breakfast is good, the location is great for us, the beds are clean, bathrooms are clean, but the nasty memory of our dirty feet will forever be what keeps me from staying there again.
Location and price.
The bed was too firm.We had an enjoyable stay. We did not have the continental breakfast because we wanted eggs. All accommodations were satisfactory. The price couldn't be better. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was not any noise level that we had to deal with. It was a quiet night.
Location was convenient to Baylor University
From the outside, it looked like a new Super 8. Once we got inside though, it appeared to be an old one that had received a facelift. Well-maintained.Some of the reviews I read complained of the all-night I-35 noise. Our room was right behind the office. No noise detected. Room was very clean, but it was still disappointing that the facility appeared to be an old structure that had been remodeled. Not a bad stay, for the reasonable rate.
The Complimentary breakfast was great, they actually had a great selection: Cereal, oatmeal, waffles (you make -kids loved it)and a few other things to eat. We also asked for another pillow and got 2 quickly. My kids also loved that pets were allowed.
The breakfast is only from 6am - 7am. So it is a little to early for the kids to have to wake up, especially if you are on vacation, no one wants to wake up that early.I had no complaints with this hotel. It was quiet and since it was by the freeway it was easy to drive around. My kids loved the breakfast variety. The only thing is on the GPS you have to put the actual name of the Highway not South Jack Kultgen Freeway (Just recently named that).
A/C worked fine
Outlet not where a CPA machine can be plugged in. Clock in room was across the room next to the TV. No Internet in room as told.It was ok.
